    Don't forget the cone in the fence on T1 marks the apex. You can use that as a line of sight guide from the kink in the wall to the apex.

    Gte at Sebring is going to be amazing. Will give this a try. Btw, your mx5 video you just released got me to 124.8 within my first hour of driving the tack for the first time. Hope you start getting the recognition you deserve. Thanks again sir !

      Dude, if you want to try out racing, just buy either a thrustmaster t150 pro or a logitec g29 and mount it to your table. It's how most people start out.

    Thanks so much for this vid Dave, you lopped seconds off my time, and I'm now in the 58s after about 25 laps having never driven this track on iRacing, and never really getting on with it on other platforms. Appreciate it! *Goes to Sim-Rigs website*

    It’s sad to see the changes they keep making to the Sebring track. The first time I saw it was 1968 and it looked very little like the track does today. They keep doing things to slow the cars down for “Safety”. When they took out the “Hair Pin” it took away a lot of the excitement on that end of the track. They took out the long back straights where the newer cars were breaking 200mph. My dad had a friend that ran a 68 Camaro in the grand prix that year that ran in the low 180’s on the back straight.
    They changed the “U” turn that empties onto the Start Finnish line where the cars used to drift around it. It is sad. If you look left after coming out of the “S” turns heading down towards the hair pin, I used to live in the old enlisted housing just short of the over walk. Enjoyed your tutorial. I took my 1978 Datsan B-210 a couple laps around the track back in 1980. It was slow enough that I could relax and sight see (LOL) at the old base, but it was still fun.

    great video and pointers, as always. You have made me much faster at many tracks so far. I think it is good to point out the cone on the left side (apex?) of turn one. I aim for it during turn one since there are no other markers available.

    Yeah, that was the old tire model... 😊 hasn’t changed terribly under NTMv7, but still, some lines just aren’t quick anymore, like for Sunset Bend you have to turn a bit earlier now. But valid advice still 👍🏻

    Started iracing 3 weeks ago and so fqr its bin plain frustrating. Figured out my main issues was figuring out stable setups and sorting (modding) my g25 brake pedal but the ford gte seems to be unstable as heck. Which of the other gt cars you recon is easyer to drive if they are.

    Nice vid! The tyre pressure is 1.0 with your setup from Craig Setup Shop. If I use the base setup in test drive the pressure start with 1.6. The lowest value to set is 1.5. Do you know why?

    Thanx soo much for that video… I tried your advices and I can get to 1.58 "lows"... So I get in to the race and hit a good average laptime… But I see other people hitting the 1.54.400... How is it possible??!! (i'm preparing for the 12H of Sebring in March)… Can someone help me hitting at least the 1.56? Thanx soo much! (I use the Craig's LMS setup)

      Hey there. It could have a lot to do with the track temp. 👍

    • @Scooks
      @Scooks 4 роки тому

      There are so many variables, track temp, driver experience, set ups. Best thing to do (I’m learning to get faster too) I’ve found (if you haven’t already) is do some onboard laps to see their lines, brake markers etc... you might pick up one or 2 things but also see corner speeds which hint towards set up
