Glad you like our food scene here. I've been hearing good things about our new food court in Union Station. Outside of our Chinatown, Korea/Japtown is worth a visit. I'm not sure if it's still around, but I use to love this place called Country Style for Hingarian on Bloor between Spadina and Bathurst. Their Schnitzel dinner is huge but last I recalling was $15. I've been trying to hit up places around Scarborough for cheap eats. Out here, if it's not small businesses its food courts and supermarket hot tables...most are surprisingly good. One I found is Fresh Land in Malvern. At St Lawrence Market, I prefer the place in the lower level for veal sandwiches.
Hey! Thanks for the insight! I can't wait to explore the other neighbourhoods of Toronto when it warms up a little. I'm going to be downtown again on Monday. Any recommendations for Ramen?
@@NealChauhan only place I've been is Ajisen Ramen in Chinatown. I've heard of places on Bloor near UofT that should be cheaper. Pacific Mall ain't bad either. I'm more of a dim sum guy but Toronto Eats I think has a number of good suggestions.
Great video, you have an amazing narrative voice as well! I head to Toronto as much as I can, I'm actually heading there this weekend, I'm seriously in love with the city and I'm with you 100% when you say you want to move there. If you get a chance make sure to check out the rest of the area around Santosei Ramen. I can say Yonge St. is my favorite place to explore while walking.
First of all, thank you so much! I'm applying to a job downtown as we speak, and should hear back if it goes through next week! If all goes well, I'll have a ton of more exploration to do :) Out of curiosity, how did you come across my vid?
@@NealChauhan I was checking out some of the best places in Toronto and your video was one of the first to come up, wasn't disappointed either I'll definitely be checking some spots out!
LOL no bro. Im from mtl and we dint have half the desert shops or the small takeout pñaces with good food options. The st lawrence market looks way bettee than what we have (jean talon market). Going to toronto tomorrow for 4 days. Will come back and confirm what im saying once im baxk
@@NealChauhan i mean Joe Beef is probably the best restaurant in Canada. Go to Quebec City and go to l'affaire est ketchup.....fucking amazing. I think you should watch the Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown about Quebec.
I think every city can have great food. Some of the best food I have ever ate was in Kingston, Ontario. Dong Nai Vietnamese restaurant's sizzling beef and pineapple, and Pat's Cambodian's golden chicken as well as Sima Sushi's spicy crunchy albacore tuna sushi.
I wasn't impressed by any of these places - I have been looking into good pizza and other great food in Toronto - so far I'm not too impressed! Very open to change my mind though...
@@NealChauhan Are you interested in Korean BBQ? I'm trying to find people to try out Arisu on Bloor Street. Not the cheapest place, but I heard it's good. Maybe when this quarantine is over we can all have a BBQ party? :-D
@@NealChauhan Well if you like some additional company when you go there just text me (I use the same username on twitter and instagram, no clue if you can message somebody on UA-cam ^^). I would love to try out their BBQ but the minimum order size is for 2 people and most of my friends can't eat there due to various dietary restrictions. So if you and your friends ever head there, I'd be happy to tag along :)
Well done for 72hrs! So much food to get through in Toronto!
No kidding!!
California sandwich(queesway location) , via mercanti(augusta av) ,anna maria trattoria(2900 langstaff ave) ...Try these places next time

I've heard the music before but I can't remember what it is. can anyone help?

You should try Fudao Noodle House in Chinatown! Their lunch special is SO worth every penny
Ooh I'll check it out!
We are going in July, and I am not seeing anything that is Canada specific
Toronto is appealing to those not from Toronto. I'm from here and want out ASAP.
Why?
@@sebastianh9534 because it's an expensive, boring shithole full of politically correct drones
Is it ok if you send the stores links?
I wish you had mentioned the name of the pizza chain or at least put their name in the description. ☹️
It's Pi Co.
Are these prices in Canadian dollar? Or US?
I'm in Canada, so Canadian :)
You missed Buster's Sea Cove at St Lawrence. The lobster roll with fries is to die for.
I was just there this summer! Lifechanging.
Kensington market you need to try the Chilean empanadas im from Chile and it’s bomb in toronto
After work? I thought you were on vacation. Try the food in Montreal, stiff competition.
Don’t move here fam; trust me.. food isn’t even the best. Montreal has better food.
It's better than Mississauga :)

how did he really go to Kensington and say that that the selection wasn't great, im shocked!!
This guy is a tourist with no guide with limited time. But I agree Kensington has a lot good corners for food.
omg loved the video
Brilliant video.. You ever thought of doing voice overs
No dad 😂
Dude, Montreal BY FAR has the best food in Canada....its not even close
Shoot me some spots I should check out! I'm hoping to be in Montreal this Fall!

U totally went to the wrong spots lol future bakery
Having lived in both cities, I actually think Vancouver has the better food scene tbh
If you prefer Caucasian or Asian food then ye Vancouver better. If you prefer a diverse selection then Toronto is way better.
