Priceless. Yesterday I followed your techniques to a T, traded in just the first 15 min from market open, followed the stock selection criteria 100%, took 5 trades on SILO and CURR, all green, hit my daily goal and stopped. Didn't get greedy, didn't experiment or wing it. Making this note as a reminder to myself to stick with the program. Thank you, Ross!

Nice. I did similar. Couple trades on SILO and was up 420 for the day using 1500(i only use 1500 paper trading). I stopped after that.
If I can consistently make a couple hundred bucks a day with 1500 buying power I'll be happy lol

"You're Awesome Ross" Thanks for the video. I've been averaging just under $1500 a day for the first 5 trading days of the year, making a couple trades a day using you're outline. Had a few small losers but some really good winners following your teaching and your 5 keys. Started with $6500 in a cash account and almost doubled it in 5 days. Just started my trading adventure in October and have been trying to soak up all the information I can. Started in a sim and have been trying to take it slow. I planned for the new years to be trading every day to build up to 30k to open a margin acct. Thanks for all you do. God bless you and your family.

Great video Ross! Love the quizzes, and each video seems like it makes a little more sense or reminds me of a nugget of knowledge i had forgotten.
Yesterday i had another small green day, 3rd green day of the year, still trading 1 share per trade. Started off strong winning 6 of my first 8 trades, had to take a break for a short time, came back and then lost on 5 of my next 8 trades, lol. Need to work on the FOMO from missing the moves while I'm away. But eventually got it together and had some decent moves on CURR, my last 18 trades I only had 5 red ones! Ended up at 64% accuracy for the day.

A video I'd like to see (and maybe you've already made one--someone please point me to it if you have) is just nothing but a series of these types of examples and explanations of why they do or don't work. Maybe real life trades you've done, ones you've considered, or just ones you'd consider to be learning opportunities. Thanks!

My VWAP has 3 bars...the bottom, middle and top. Every morning the leading gappers are stuck just below the top and it's always the resistance until traders try and push the stock higher and it usually will break out maybe 10, 20-30 cents then drop back down just below it and it's a fight all day trying for another breakout above it. I also use the 200 SMA I find traders will usually respect that level as resistance as well as the 200 EMA.

For the last year, I've slowing built up my equity in a cash account, making only making a few trades/day. Yesterday, I made the leap to a margin account. Profited the most money I've ever made in one day. Then... I lost most of it because I didn't follow some obvious setup & exit rules. 🤣Since it was my first day using a margin account, I'm trying not to be so hard on myself, but it pays (quite literally) to follow Ross' words of "not overstaying your welcome". I also should've stopped trading after market volume declined.

I'm currently reading candlestick charts by Steve Nison which You've recommended. You've made this information so easy to understand. Thank you. 😊

Hi ross, could you give any examples of good free scanners and alerts, currently using charts watcher which's free.

I would like to see a video of you trading NAS100 and using only the MACD, EMA9, and VWAP and trade in the 5 Min chart.

Hey Ross do you think it's possible to become profitable without using indicators and just bacing your predictions with candlestick patterns only?

Paper trading Day 139: I have locked up Ross's daily goal! $5300 profit - half of it on literally one trade on CURR (actually 5 trades but after that successful one I got tricked by a "new high" and lost $850 - eventually recovered them on those other four trades). A decent win on SLSE, $1150 in three trades on NLSP and a single $850 winner on SXTP. This last one happened at 8:07 am and coming into 8:30 am I wasn't seeing anything good. At the same time I had a record profit in the books and a 90% accuracy on the day. Anxiety started crippling in - I was afraid that this could have been the peak and I will only make mistakes and ruin everything if I continue. So I left.. Probably would have made even more but I'm still afraid of myself somewhat.

What are the settings on the MACD?

    • @mrdirexion
      @mrdirexion 11 годин тому

Ross uses the default settings for MACD. He says, because that is what most other traders are doing.

Correct! Default settings I believe are 12/26

Hey Ross, got a question for you. Would you ever consider or have you ever traded while on a cruise ship?

    • @DaytradeWarrior

I don’t really like going on boats, but I wouldn’t have a big concern with it. I wouldn’t expect internet to be fantastic, but it would probably be good enough
