But if you are a young couple, it can be thoughts about financial security or the demerits of living in the countryside or his dislike for such life etc etc. But If your family is financially sound and can live without a salaried job, settling in a farm atmosphere is good for his mental health. Even if he continues to work, coming back home to a peaceful atmosphere will really help him. I like pets and gardening. So I release all the stress related to my autism by spending time with my pets and plants. As an introvert i feel much better to interact with pets and plants than humans. After work or on a holiday I like to spend some time alone, say one hour. That's the time I enjoy the most as an introvert. Just like an extrovert enjoys time with friends. If I don't get that everyday I 'll become irritated. It took some time for him to understand this. Then, I have sleep issues due to autism. It takes ages for me to sleep while he 'll fall asleep really soon.So he 'll wake up much earlier than me and try waking me up but I won't be able to because I haven't slept early. This was another problem. Then, I say very little words. I 'll convey the message but in a straight forward way which sometimes he feels as rude. But I know inside that I talk with utmost sincerity and politeness. All these are the daily struggles.

I am a software engineer (and introvert) - it depends of which internal role you have. If you are a senior developer you have to communicate a lot with other devs and customers.
If you want more peace, apply for a junior- or mid-level dev job, even if you could do the senior job. Your only contact are usually other coworkers. Of course you wont make as much money as senior but for me thats worth it. Money is not everything. I already declined to be promoted as senior few times, because of this.

Hi Nick! Thank you for sharing. I agree with everything you said! I was a Real Estate Title Examiner for over a decade. This position required a lot of research and allowed me to work independently and eventually from home. This position I used required me to use the left side of my brain, like logic and analysis, which matches the skills that are necessary in all of the jobs you mentioned in your video.
There are also jobs out there that are great for introverts who use the right side of their brains, which is more focused on areas using skills like arts and creativity. I like how you mentioned drawing as an aspect of architecture. Don’t forget that there are lot of positions like behind-the-camera content creators, podcasters, writers, artists, and graphic designers that are great jobs for creative introverts.
Another job I had was being a ballroom dance instructor where I taught people one-on-one and I also taught dance to large groups of people (up to 100+ people at once). The irony for me was that I found my introversion didn’t bother me or drain be when I was teaching a large group of people because I was “alone” and in my own space while I was teaching and speaking. I struggled more after the class when I had to interact with lots of people, even if they were kind and complimentary and just wanted to tell me they enjoyed my class.
I find the same thing is true as a UA-camr. It’s easier for me to be in front the camera and speak because I’m alone when I do it. The harder part for me, as a UA-camr, is the “social” aspect of the job like commenting and responding to other people’s comments. Do you find this to be the same for you as an introvert with a UA-cam channel?
I really enjoyed your video! I’m grateful for the valuable information you provided! Thank you!

You made a good point with thriving while performing. Introverts dig deep into becoming great at what they do, and once they master their craft, they feel very comfortable to share it with others no matter what the format is.
I’m having a great time making these videos because they are all based on things I experience daily in my life and career. And yes, interacting online can be draining for me as an introvert, but this is the best way for me to understand people more and make sure my ideas stay relevant.

@@nickdang2474 I’m like this in the morning, too. My best days are when I wake up and start before 5am. It feels like I got gifted free time to use my mind and body in whatever way I choose before parking in front of the work PC for hours.
In that time, I exercise, think about whatever I like, make a delicious coffee and put a croissant into the oven to toast, have a leisurely breakfast, and mentally prepare to begin work before seven.
If I can start my work day before 7am, that’s the BEST scenario, because I get so much uninterrupted time to focus and get into flow, which is integral to being productive as a knowledge worker.

I am an introvert INFJ-T and I work in Graphic Design, mostly from home. Many people don’t understand why I love my job even if it doesn’t give me financial settlement because I live in Lebanon. And they tried so hard to push me to find something like sales person. I’ve tried it and I totally sucked in it lol now I can see why 😅 I also studied interior design before and have a bacc license in, I was in the top 5 of most successful student in Lebanon, but I couldn’t continue my learning process because of financial issues. But I love both of those domains, as I am eager to learn more.

@@nickdang2474 Sort of both technically. I always loved reading books and writing so I wanted to implement them in my career. However it wasn't my first choice. I tried to be a journalist and then a librarian but disinterest in the harder aspects of profession in the former and lack of local opportunity in the latter forced me to seek online remote work so I created my blog, got on Upwork and started promoting my services online. It helps since I get nervous talking to people (probably why I never did well in job interviews) but have no problems writing to them.

It’s so upsetting that introverts aren’t considered ideal hires because of their inability to go out there and get it! Even if you are a closeted genius, ppl would prefer the loud wannabe who screams across the floor instead of using mails. This is true at-least in advertising.
