Thank you for sharing these videos with us. I will never travel. My husband and I are both disabled. (My husband lost his leg several years ago and I messed up my back caring for him.) So traveling is impossible due to physical limitations even without the financial aspects.
Traveling vicariously through kind people like you, opens up the world for me. The more you show and explain, the more it feels like I'm there!
good gawd that's depressing.
@@heyheytaytay what’s the point of this comment?
@@alibabarouge are you seriously asking for a POINT to a YT comment? Are you dense or just new?
@@heyheytaytay some people feel the need to hurt people that already are going through hardships : I d like to destroy them
That's very unfortunate that your health is failing both of you but you do have each other.
My health is also starting to fail me and I worry I'll find it too difficult to travel in the future but so long as I have my GF by my side I will be happy so your husband is a lucky man.
A great channel for videos from Japan is Anna Film Production. It's only video so it doesn't include comments by the maker but they have amazing videography. Take care!
Oh a new one from Solo-San! Just before bedtime. Sooo good!
I h
Just thought the same thing
Hell yea being trapped in anerica watching someone who lives in a clean functional country just gives me nightmares about my own life
When I saw the title, I knew this was going to be good... I was hovering over the closed captioning button to turn it on.. but the creator kindly made his own. Thank you kindly for your effort in making these videos. Seriously, they are a breath of fresh air! (lol) P.S. I like corns.
I live in New Zealand and every year we travel to Hamner Springs, a geothermal hotsprings in the south island two hours away from where I live. im very fond of the sulfurous smell that comes with these sorts of hot springs, so many nice memory's each time.. One day when things are back to normal travel wise we would love to come to Japan and who knows, try the beautiful Kusatsu Onsen!
Hanmer springs is great, I go up there every few years.
Same! I love Hanmer.
if you ever get to western Canada - Radium Hot Springs in the Rockie Mountains is at great spot
Wenn alles zurück zu normalen Zeiten ohne pandemie möchte ich auch diese Erlebnis haben.
Done Hamner as well - but no smell for me. Try the city of Rotorua - now there is a unique experience for your nose.
'It is believe it can cure almost all illness...
Except love sick'
Hahaha 🤣🤣🤣
I love this part 😁😁😁
Thank you as always for your nice videos!!!
Keep up the good work!! 😀👍🏼
There is no cure for lovesick! 🙂
Oh my goodness, 120% full is quite the achievement! 😂
I get so hungry watching these videos, the food always looks so good!
I like that this is a destination video and would be interested in seeing more places in Japan.
Thanks for the great videos!
I also get very hungry after each video. Yesterday I bought Japanese curry, because of Solo-san :) I never tried curry in my life, and I wasn't interested in trying it, but he makes it look so good.
I watch this channel only while i'm eating myself. It's impossible otherwise ))
I am always amazed with the Japanese food presentation. Tomato soup was elevated when served with a special ceramic bowl.
I'm not a fan of the smell of sulfur, so I can't imagine I'd be too impressed with smelling it strongly. Still, all that steam made the Christmas decorations look really cool at night! That bread for your toast looked absolutely AMAZING!
I like the smell of sulfur if its in certain things. I do target shooting a lot, so gunpowder has sulfur in it, along with other things like coal and saltpeter, and I like the smell of gunsmoke (unless it's an AR-15. They put some sort of detergent in 5.56 to keep the barrel cleaner and it's a real acrid smell.) But older gun powder blends smell good, like especially the Mosin Nagant ammo, that smoke smells kind of like barbecue.
But then here in Texas about halfway between Dallas and Paris, there's a town called Sulfur Springs... and that town smells really bad.
But there were crusts on it. I said to my wife, are we sure this is Japan? lol
@@samsanimationcorner3820 I've been there and it really does smell bad - but not overwhelming. If you go with small children, you and they can stick out your tongues near the "waterfall" chute. It's "spicy raindrops" time.
This town looks incredible, must visit someday.
What a great trip to Onsen/Hot Spring. Something surprising me is you are still buy some snack even you are full. It was great to see between nearby station to the tourist attractions connected by public transportation.
The scenes at night with the lights and steam were beautiful and otherworldly. It must have been quite an experience walking around when it was so quiet and there were hardly any other people around.
I would love to visit that quiet little village, so relaxing! And I can't believe that huge breakfast was less than $10!
very interesting all the infrastructure for the onsen water
So happy that you posted a video today. I have been under the weather and actually thought this morning that a video from you is just what I needed. Thank you for traveling so far to show us the sights.
I'd absolutely love to travel to japan one day. Wish we could see more. I wanted to say I like that there is no unnecessary talking in your videos. :) Thank you!
I do as well!! No unnecessary talking nor unnecessary loud music. Dont you just love the serenity, and the feeling like youre actually there?!
I absolutely love the idea of staying at that hotel and visiting the onsen, then immediately climbing in between clean sheets and resting. That looks so remarkably relaxing and refreshing!
Always great Vids. Love to whatch them. Thank you for showing 👍❤️
the lights are so beautiful
The lights at night looked lovely. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
My wife said that you are eating all the time. But I like to see the foods you show us. Anyway, love your videos. Thanks.
Loved the scenery, the food made me 200% hungry. And 100% more relaxed and happy..
This place looks really peaceful and interesting.
Kusatsu Onsen is my favorite onsen town, I hope to visit it again soon, hopefully next year...
I lived for 3 years in Gunma-ken, the sights of the mountains and the sauce katsu brought back powerful feelings. One of the happiest times of my live, spent on the slopes of Akagi-san.
My husband is a native of Gunma and we lived in Isesaki for five years. I miss the Gunma mountains, especally Mt. Akagi a lot! Mt. Shirane is fabulous too. My hubby might be the lucky man who saw the first wild bear in Gunma in modern times, as we were walking down from the crater lake of Mt. Shirane to Kusatsu.
I think you've hit a new record, with being 120% full in this video.
It looks like one of my dream weekend trip.
Another excellently relaxing video with delicious foods!
1. Miss visiting Japan
2. Watch Japanese travel videos
3. Miss Japan even more
4. Cry a lot
5. Repeat step 1-4
Omg the food in this video really look appetizer.. It looks yummy and delicious 🤤
I stayed at Kusatsu for a night in 2018 and your great video brings back lovely memories of my trip. Well done.
Glad I normally eat before watching, I'd be extremely jealous. Thanks for sharing.
That was wonderful! And your dinner! Those noodles made me crave some! Thanks again for taking us along on your travels.
What a wonderful place to visit. And as always the food looked amazing and delicious. Thank you for sharing your experience.
This place looked so mysterious and magical, with all the steam, and the wonderful lighting at night time! Thankyou for sharing this beautiful place with us 😊
I've been to an onsen a long time ago on Shikoku. It had salt water pools and many different heat levels. It was interesting! I wasn't really comfortable since it's all nude haha. It was a small town and I was with my Japanese host mom. Women kept telling me I had pretty pale skin, and asking my host mom questions. It was an experience!
thank you! for once a change to see nice food and no sea and ship. You did well as a local guide , hope to see more of local trips
Did you know that the road going up to Kusatsu has the musical grooves in it and if you drive a certain speed, it plays the traditional song they sing when they cool down the yu.
Great video! Love the view of the town from the street
It's silly, but I teared up a bit because I can't be there, but at least I have the video. Thanks!
Another fantastic tasty captivating journey, I so look forward to your posts .
What a lovely small town , have always preferred small towns , you also n get the best cooked meals in small towns
While I would prefer a not smelly one, I think I would like it to compare. The town was so peaceful and the food was amazing to look at! I really enjoyed seeing the town during the day and at night. Thank you, as always, for bringing us along (without the smell!).
Being peaceful makes it a nice place to visit. The sulfur in the water is very healthy especially if it has magnesium in it too…that’s what’s in Epsom salts.
10:51 Lots of videos on YT if people want to see the Yumomi show. It's interesting - *spoilers* it's basically a folk dance built around splashing a pool of onsen to cool it down to bathe in.
Looks like a fun place to visit in Winter, other than the smell!
What a wonderful town! Thanks a ton for sharing your experience!
Love your recommendations. Thanks again!
I love watching your videos, so relaxing
Thank you very much. I remembered when I lived in Kusatsu.
It's Spectacular Thank You for Sharing.
I love this channel, your videos are so relaxing and enjoyable to watch, God Bless You from uk 🇬🇧
OMG, the affogato looks nice! Definitely your video isn't complete without eating. Lol. The more I feel like watching Food Channel. >.
2:45 - I love seeing the small detail of recyceling the can! Thank you for your videos and the care and attention you give when filming and editing the video. When I can vacation in Japan again, you have given me so many more places and ways to get to the places to enjoy! Thank you.
すごいビデオ!どもありがとごさいます!
That looks great. Thanks for sharing.
How beautifully your breakfast was served. Lovely.
Thank You for another wonderful video!
You are the absolute best travel guide for Japan. I look forward to every video you post. Thank you.
What a beautiful place !!
I think my skin is softer just watching this video. What a beautiful place!
Always enjoy your videos
Love this - thank you. I spent two happy years in Gunma teaching. Thanks for the videos. Nikko would be good to see again, too.
Here in Alberta Canada we have natural hot springs and they have the same smell! 🙂. Thanks for sharing, this was so relaxing to watch.
Really loved this video it is my favorite one of yours so far!
The smell of hot springs is 'unique'. You either like it or you don't. I was fascinated by the breakfast. Amazing mixture of cultures all in one meal. Tomato soup? Amazing! As someone who cannot eat miso (I am allergic), I think that is great.
I really enjoy that you post more than just ferry videos
Been there some years ago. Great onsen, great festivities and great local song and dances. With own car, going to rural open air onsens is no problem. Will love to go back there one day.
That's really beautiful at night. The blueish lights are lovely. There's lovely smelly towns in New Zealand too. Thank you.
I like this, it is cool to see videos in ferries and in outside places too
Your cinematography of the night-scape of colors in the mists was AWESOME. Worthy of a movie or documentary. Srsly!
Thank you for this. As with all your videos, it was interesting and, more than some, beautiful.
Wow another trip. I haven’t unpacked from the last one. I’m ready!!!!
Remember, the smellier the onsen is the better it is considered in Japan.
The smell of sulfur is basically the certificate of good onsen (^_^).
Love this place. Hope to go back again someday.
Amazing night walk. Thanks.
This is my favorite video you've made. Looks incredible.
Wonderful video! I visited a hot spring in Bulgaria once upon a time and, at a distance of several decades, I can affirm that the smell is definitely unique and memorable. I would love to visit one again as I am older and constantly ache badly!
The place looks incredible at night!
Always a good day when a vid drops from this channel
I love this video. Definitely I will go there. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻😍
That looked fabulous! The food looks so good and the onsen relaxing. Thank you for sharing!
I love everything about this place, and this video! Excellent field trip! Thank you for sharing with us! PS! Really love how quiet the place gets! 🥰
Very enjoyable video, thank you.
I do so enjoy your videos & the way you present them.
Such a charming town. I would dearly love to visit somewhere like that.
Bookmarked for the next trip to Japan, hopefully. Bring the smelly!
What a wonderful video. Relaxes me and soothes my soul. Someday I hope to visit Japan and experience it all myself. For now - I have your videos and feel like I am there, tagging along, even if only virtually. Thank you for what you do.
Awesome video the place look amazing
thank you for the details on how to get there. Very beautiful town.
Thank you for taking us along. All the things you show are so interesting! I would think the smelly hot springs have good healing properties and yes you are funny!
Absolutely beautiful video thank you so much! I truly miss Japan and all it has to offer :)
We have a town in Southern Indiana called French Lick. Similar sulphur springs and used to be famous for Pluto Water, a laxative soft drink.
Awesome job as usual! Visually stunning place to visit! Food looked great and I loved the music!
This has been a very interesting video. Thank you.
Wow, looks amazing
this is so chill, loving this kind of video. the walk at night in the quiet city..the food that you had looks SO good, delectable! thank you STJ-san!
It's a beautiful place. Hope to go back there one day
What a beautiful place to visit. Thanks for showing it to us. Merry Christmas. Stay safe.
Reminds me of Iceland, especially in the Reykjavik area, where much of the hot water is from natural hot springs. So it smells like sulfur! BUT you get used to that, and eventually it becomes a good memory.
Kusatsu Onsen is my favourite Onsen town I have visited so far.
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing 👍🏴
I love the Christmas tree! Thank you for taken it was a nice town😊
I'd have to say you and dancing bacon are my two favorite channels.
