WARNING READ THIS UNLESS YOU WANT A SHOCK:
When you disconnect battery it is negetive FIRST then positive, when you reconnect its positive first then negetive any mechanic should know this its obvious once you understand why. Doing it the other way (how he says in this video) can get you shocked cause the whole vehicle is live if you touch the positive to it, since the ground wire attaches to the frame of the bike.

You need to Remove - Wire first.
After changing Battery connect + First.

Obviously there is no security alarm system on your bike. If there were, the alarm would have been triggered when you pulled the fuse. Just thought I'd mention it in case some unfortunate souls follow your instructions and get a nasty earful when they pull the fuse.
My moms bike has an alarm system, it doesnt go off when I disconnect battery, my guess is bike alarms dont have their own battery so as soon as its disconnected it has no power to sound.

Can anyone tell me what the dongle is for? See it just above and to the left of the battery in this vid. Is this for hooking up a tender or ECU or ?
The lower dongle is for the battery tender, the one above it is the connector for the USB chargers I wired through

I did same on my bike but I did not pull the master fuse out. After replacing the battery, I did start the bike and the engine service icon came on the speedometer!! I did ride the bike around the house and all the sudden my battery light came on the speedometer two!!
The bike is brand new and just has 200 miles on it!
Do you have any idea what happing? Is that because I did not pull the master fuse out before I replace the battery? and how to fix it?
I am no expert so my first suggestion is check in with your dealership. Also I would be asking the dealership why a brand new bike with only 200 miles on it needed a battery change. Mine was 11000 miles, seasons down and was left while I moved house and I forgot to put in charge while left.
Mine is 2020 and kept for two years in the storage that’s why the battery went bad.
No, you don’t need to pull the fuse. Do ya pull the fuse on your car? No just make sure you disconnect the black first then red. Then hook up the red on new battery and then black. If you have a bike alarm you will need to pull that fuse Or it’s going to go off when you hook it up
