The resilience we gain during arduous times will be useful during and after college so the ultimate measure of a person is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience but where he stands at times of challenges and controversy. An institution of higher education is a partnership among students and Alumni, faculty and administrators, neighborhoods and more, to build a community and culture. Like branches of a tree, our lives may grow in different directions yet our roots remain as one while sharing the same organization. The department of English is taking a step to collect its former students to create a link between its learners and industry in a series of programs as ‘DISTINGUISHED GRADUATES’.
