SO much to read, SO many books! And to think that, theyre not even half of the books available at Harmony Book Shop, Beautiful! Truly a pleasure to be subscribed to your channel, because of which, I can be introduced to such great insights. Very nice that you were observant of what your audience was asking for and tried to do it! Like holding the camera near the shelves! You both were so gentle & careful with the books ! Pretty! Amazing, Love this! Mr Rakesh’s insights are keen & good to know, and his presence is appreciated as well !
The greatness of your video is justified by the fact that it feels like I’m there with you ❤ Thank you so much for recording this vibrant and timeless experience! (Such an aesthetic video, a good ol’ handycam vibe- Thoroughly loved it)
As a fan of the channel, here are my suggestions. * Bertrand Russell's History of Western Philosophy -- people often complain about it because Russell doesn't adopt the usual deferential fawning tone when talking about religion. The historical overviews between the chapters on individual philosophers are especially good, and he always writes simply and clearly. (The audiobook is very well read too.) * Peter Adamson's series of books and podcasts, The History of Philosophy Without Any Gaps is excellent. The podcasts are really great, and the books based on them are easy to read but do not shy away from difficult topics. The podcasts are freely available online and have extensive reading lists included in the notes.
yes, Sanskar, we can. I hope you have started with the History of philosophy books as I suggested in my previous videos. Then start reading Plato, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche and Russell for the original writings. (For pleasure ans for mid-level reader) Then we can move to Descartes, Leibniz, Spinoza on one had versus Hume and Berkley on the other, Then the most difficult ones Immanual Kant, Hegel, Heiddeger and Wittgenstein
!!! Enormous collections.
I think the world might be much beyond than my expectations
Only a few books are digestive.
