Ed Kemper passed a psych exam while there was a woman's head in the trunk of his car in the parking lot.
If you know what answers they want to hear, it's not that difficult to pass it.
They don't have one in many places. They give family members a questionnaire to fill out. Unfortunately my family didn't divulge the fact that my half brother unalived a few animals when he was young.

There was a case in Australia earlier this year where 2 men went missing, one of them being a tv presenter, the other hus flight attendant boyfriend. It was determined that the two were murdered by the jealous ex boyfriend of the tv host, who happened to be a police officer with the nsw police force.
Cops actually commit crimes all the time, most are not arrested because everything is investigated internally. Believe me, I know, the police are not your friend. Lots of psychopaths are coppers. Australian psychological tests dont pick them up because they use an outdated 1950s psychometric test .

I’m not a cop but I have worked for the police department for the past 16 years; and idiots like these make us _all_ look bad.

Just to mention another, foreign example for a cop turned killer:
Norbert Poehlke, a German police officer, who between 1984 and 1985 would kills six motorists with his service pistol, steal their cars, and use them to commit bank robberies, using a sledgehammer to smash the teller's counter screens. He was sensationally dubbed "Der Hammermörder" ("The Hammer Killer"), even though the sledge was not his killing tool. Eventually, he was cornered, and he killed his wife, his two young sons, and then himself.

I feel like this list could be WAY longer than 10 because that's just scratching the surface. For example just off the top of my head there were about 10 or more police officers (that we know about) that were involved in murders during the Miami cocaine wars of the early 80's and there were even more officers than Frank in New Orleans at the same time that were committing murders in the mid 90's.
There's one I learned about fairly recently, Nicholas Tartaglione.
This guy was an absolute scumbag criminal for his entire police career, openly breaking the law in broad daylight and managing to get away with it.
Hell, he even assaulted a public access TV journalist named Clay Tiffany so badly that he had to be put in the hospital ON TWO SEPERATE OCCASIONS because Clay refused to stop reporting on Nicholas' crimes. And he somehow stayed a cop after that.
It wasn't until 2016 that Nicholas' reign of terror would come to an end in the most horrific way possible. With him executing 4 drug dealers after a cocaine deal went bad and buried them on his farm.
He was sentenced to four consecutive life terms.

Going rogue or becoming a murderer are two reasons why I don’t believe I’d be a good police officer. Also, the pressure and stress associated with the job would make me crack and crumble. Bad cops give the good ones bad raps.
There are no good cops.
Good cops either leave the force out of disgust within the first year or are shot in the back by one of their fellow cops for not staying silent.
I say we give Derrick Chaivin a dishonorable mention. Over the past few years, more and more information has come out about his excessive force and unnecessary violence before his notorious murder.

Derek Chauvin is in this videos honorable mentions but in April 2021 which is almost a year after the black lives matter protest Derek was sentenced to 22 years and 6 months in prison and is busted from firearms and all police departments for the remainder of his life once he’s released from prison at the age of 68 years old
It’s a joke to include him in this and every sensible person knows it. I’m not defending his actions at all, but compared to these people he may as well have a traffic ticket. Multiple murders, serial killers, tortures, kidnappers, and grapists really outdo Chauvin leaning (by multiple testimony) on Floyd’s back.

Reminds me of the cop from a few years ago who shot a guy in a park and placed his taser next to him, all while thankfully being filmed from the other side of the street.
If we knew the truth then this list would be hours long
I'm training to become a police officer. I understand why people of all backgrounds are at the very least apprehensive around cops. It's not just the bigots and bullies you gotta watch out for. Even the most well mannered officer could be a monster. I hope my service will help put some members of my community at ease.

Gerard Schaefer is not as well known as he should be in the conversation of serial killers. A serial killer operating as a cop, picking off hitchhikers and runaways.
It’s odd that you mention the Golden State Killer committed burglaries and murders but did not mention the numerous rapes.
It might be because he couldn't be charged for them. They had to get creative to type of justice for those victims.

Yes, I will always remember Craig Peyer and Cara Knott. I wasn't much older than she was and I drove that same stretch of road all the time. It's never lost on me that it could just have easily been me. Cara probably would have been a grandmother by now.
My wife's best friend's father was a police officer in Los Angeles. He and his partner became murder for hire hitmen. Robert Von Villas.

What would help is if we got rid of immunity. It is dumb how cops can get away with unaliving any person they feel but if any average person like us swings in a cops general direction they’re suddenly a baby and it’s charge after charge. Somethings not equal here

I remember that incident too.
While the local authorities bungled the negotiation and the rescue operation, the covering media networks are also to blame for the deaths of those HK tourists, because the reporters unwittingly provided information (especially the positions of police surrounding the bus) to Mendoza, who was watching it from a TV on board the bus.
He got agitated both at seeing live footage of his brother being arrested as well as from that dumb ass radio broadcaster who called him directly on his mobile phone.

In 1986 there was a policeman in San Antonio Stephen Smith that had already killed several people in the city before he was killed by his patrol partner before he could go on a shooting spree at city hall.

That Chicago case recently is hellfire. That poor woman. That ‘officer’ and his partner doesn’t deserve anything less than whole life order (life no parole) but the PD should be disciplined. Apparently he had loads of issues beforehand.
