      Merlin made a point saying those guy's genetics are so elite that it really wouldn't have mattered how Jay trained he would probably still look like the Jay we know. If he trained like Dorian he'd have mostly same results. I tend to agree. Some guys can look at weights and grow.

    I love going to the gym, do what I have to do in 45 to 50 minutes. I usually rotate styles once I'll go for max weight load for less reps then after some time I'll go for higher amount of reps with less weight load. No matter which I focus on having my technique correct. I am not going to judge after all I am not at all into bodybuilding neither I work out for so long nor I got the experience of pros. 2 things I know, going to the gym just makes me feel better overall and that Jay can't be compared to Dorian. Different eras of bodybuilding in my opinion. Peace

    Great video. Training hard and finding which style suits you is imperative but surely if your nutrition is off it doesn't matter how hard you train - you won't grow. Volume tolerance also seems very dependant on which muscle is being trained. Personally I can recover from 60 + all out balls to the ball sets of lateral raises per week ( if I wanted) but am struggling to recocer from 10 hard sets for adductors per week.

    In the end volume because connective tissue can only take so much load and volume requires less weight. So that would allow you to put more muscle on your frame than you could going heavy, with out getting injuries. If the limit is say 700 lbs then if 700 is your 60 % you'd be massive.

    Volume works for 30_40%

    What really counts is. how nuch effort we put in all sets
    Pump workouts=sensations
    Braking muscle =reality

    There are many views to this. High Volume is a better depends what better you want how fast and how long you want to spend training and how much you care about your health. High Volume is the better in the way of training the majority of the time and could be done forever!
    DY HIT training done correct all the time could lead to less longevity in your lifting years taken to extreme. I think the result would be the quicker bigger but a lot shorter nutritional and all other inputs were equal. Just it’s not possible to do all the time taken beyond the limits though that said not everyone can even hit that level. If your not vomiting your doing it wrong if you can walk after leg day and sit on the toilet without been in agony and a cruel diet to boot. You did it wrong again if you want to isolate the muscle group again the next day you did it wrong. It’s a great bulking method and fantastic in light of what is now known. Great to try and hit that level after a few years of lifting and if you really can hit that level don’t make it a way of life forever take it back a notch see what happens if you must

    The way I see it is that they both work, however, they both have pros and cons. With high intensity you are going to grow faster, however the price that must be paid is the Joints and the injuries when you get older you will not be able to over come these ie look at Ronnie Coleman. Now with volume you will take longer to grow but you will eventually grow to the same size as with high intensity, but you won’t have the joint issues / injuries ie look at jay cutler

    • @drewmorg.
      @drewmorg. 4 роки тому

      Another strategy would still be to keep low volume + high intensity but with lower weights and more reps. The reps build the intensity till failure, without the dangerous maximal load tensions.

    Why not mix the both. Have your eyes pop every set as you do your 7-12 rep max rest 5+ minutes for 20-25 sets and then pyramid set down on to op that until you can barely do 5lbs. I tried this and put on dry stage 2 inches on my arms in 18 months. I was just on Test, NPP, and Superdrol and took DNP to see how much of the gains was actual contractile tissue. You get a super full dense hard veiny look.

    Incorporate what works. Don’t let someone else tell you which style of training to do. Try them for yourself, you might find you need a mix. I know for me personally my legs respond well to high intensity over crazy volume. Where my delts tend to respond well to high volume . (In relation to muscle hypertrophy) everyone’s body responds differently. Work outs and diet are a science experiment with yourself. Trial and error time after time

    Medium volume, all sets to failure, but don't force more than 1 rep, to be able to do all sets. Then , only last set or last 2- you go crazy, but not extreme, cause it will not make it grow more, but just destroy more of the muscle. Also: No coffee = no cortisol ==> more muscle. Replace chicken with red meat for faster growth, more results. Minced meat, for easy chewing. If possible, go natural. I grow with only 6 or 7 sets ( warm ups sets to get to maximum weight not included ). If i can do one more set, ok, but if i can do only one or two reps, it means session is over, muscle is done.
