As a huge fan of the main game, I've been patiently waiting to see what Fromsoft have cooked up to try and live up to one of the most iconic games of its era. My previous experience with the Bloodborne DLC was so positive that it elevated my entire opinion of the game overall. But with Elden Ring already being as incredible as it was for me, I'm just hoping for more of the same. Let's find out if we'll get it together.
The playthrough is likely to be very long, spanning tens of hours even after editing. Buckle up for a long journey, this is one of those games that seems like it definitely should not be rushed. Enjoy the ride!

I just beat that boss this morning 😂. Back to this Elden Ring robbery

Chinese lion dance has 2 people inside the costume. 1 on the bottom and 1 behind the lion mask is how you should think of this fight... they move as one and attack in different ways. Gas/"breath" is low and aoe... the top guy has targeted attacks so he is more dangerous. (Imo) When he is "supported/elavated", his hit box changes (with the camera angling up). This beast use frost, lightning, and wind projectile attacks... aoes are brutal if you don't dodge. Jump with less armor or dodge roll after attacking minimally. You don't parry, right?
4:46 👍 dance --> tempo (ebb and flow) like a snake coiling up before the strike or like horse bucking...
2 _ 1 _ 1 _ 2 _ 1 (REPEAT) --> all pauses should be for dodging (in the correct direction) and heal only after the foe has finished a "volley" of attacks without hesitation.
22:40 - 26:20 better strategy fighting at range, giving more time to react to incoming attacks in second phase, and the extra "free" heals didn't hurt in long term.
