Summary:
The Traveler and Paimon are suggested to take a rest at the Spina di Rosula base underneath the city by Isadora, who tells them that Neuvillette wishes to speak with them.
Earlier, Neuvillette asked Furina to decline The Knave's request for a meeting with her, but Furina decided to entertain the request and had The Knave arrive, who requested Childe's custody but Neuvillette denied it since the trial had already concluded.
Neuvillette informs the two that Childe had also disappeared from the prison, and offers to press false charges on them to enter the prison.
Paimon stuffs herself in anticipation of poor food in the prison, but the Traveler accidentally mentions the prison, and the two are sent to the prison's entrance where they are given 45 days in prison as punishment.
The Traveler and Paimon are taken on a tour of the Fortress of Meropide by Deakin, who explains about life in the prison and the Credit Coupons, the prison's currency. They meet Lyney and Lynette, who threw themselves in prison with a small "theft performance" to do so.
The two return to the dorms and sleep, while the Traveler has a flashback of Childe's time in prison.
The Traveler learns about the "rules" of the prison, including being served mystery meat if they work for three days straight and not being allowed to bet on two fighters in a match.
The Traveler and Paimon approach Vidoc to ask him about the "hidden rules", but are refused, leaving them suspicious. They then approach Fielding and tell him they have trouble sleeping at night due to strange sounds, and find out that Childe used the pipes to escape.
It was a really good Archon Quest and I cried a lot during the Archon Quest.

@@Wizzardoftime you do your quest in sections and I was thinking about the archon quest as a whole. There were many parts that made me tear up and I’m glad they made Furina a 5 star because what she went through, how the game made us dislike her in the beginning and how sad everyone was when we found out what she did for Fontaine for 500 years and being a human to boot. It’s the way Hoyoverse takes the players on this journey and the roller of emotions we all go through. To be honest, this game has made me take a look at my own emotions and I’ve realized something, I don’t want to be a jerk. I have become angry with what has happened in my life and so, this game has brought out emotions I have suppressed for many years. I’m not sure if anyone feels this way but, this game has made me emotional. 😉 In a good way! Anyway, thank you for your content.
This was my least favorite part of the quest. I still do not want to go to Meropide if I can avoid it. But while it felt tedious, there were also the bright spots and quite a lot interesting bits of information. Wriothesley is quite an amazing guy actually, but doesn't get all the credit due because certain others shine so brightly. His Story Quest is an eyeopener for sure.
A lot of people 'fell in love' with Arlecchino at first sight when 'Winter Night's Lazzo' was released by Hoyoverse. I find her fascinating and am looking forward to learn more about her. I am saving my primogems currently in case she becomes playable. However, I don't even try to wish for characters that I strongly dislike, so I need to get more information first. What Childe and Wanderer have to say about her in their voice lines is a bit scary, but they are not omniscient. I am waiting to make up my own mind.
Her design is incredible and she has a great poker face because I have no idea what she's thinking, but feel that we can't trust her, since she's a Fatui Harbinger. Still, It's exciting seeing more of the Genshin story progress outside of the regional affairs. Thank you so much for watching and I too try to avoid Meropide as much as possible haha I feel like I got my fill of it!
