Ahyeon is just ridiculous. A 15 year old should not be that polished at stage presence, powerful singing, rapping, and dancing, all in one. She even even volunteered to take the hardest parts in their group vocal challenge, so she has incredible confidence in her voice, and she helped coach Chiquita when she was struggling with her practice, so she is also a leader. She literally has it all. All at 15? Just insane.
Chiquita isn't at her ideal condition here, having just recover from COVID, losing her voice prior. All the songs here are covers, they just add something along it....
For those who had watched the Final Evaluation series.. we knew there will be a "Blind Test" evaluation conducted by the YG Entertainment CEO where he will be evaluating all the members "Vocal Singing" capabilities without looking at their performances. In that final "Blind Test" evaluations.. Pharita & Chiquita were both tied on 1st place (Same Score)... So we could only imagine how good Chiquita's rendition of "Traitor" will sounds like before she was down with the Covid. Not biased.. i'm OT7 btw.. just need to stand up for Chiquita when needed.

Thanks for seeing it that way. Yes I usually react blind so I was unaware of her condition. I just happened to notice her struggling and reacted to it, that all. She has grown on me in recent reactions.
My bias pharita is the second oldest after ruka. Yup, Chiquita is one of the main dancer. She is phenomenal when dancing. I feel her strength in her singing is the expression of feelings, especially fragility. Listen to her first line in "Stuck in the Middle LIVE STAGE" and you will know what I mean.
Watch their mv stuck in the middle Chiquita is def a lead vocal lol it just because she had covid before this evaluation so she wasn't her best during it as she was still recovering
Pharita has a stoic poker face when she belts, and she does it effortlessly. Rora always pays acute attention to the emotion of a song. She and Rami have the R & B voices in the group. I guess I prefer reaction videos where there are few to no pauses in the first watch, and then on the second watch there are few to several pauses for additional observations.

@GregPulido I will respond to your comment because it felt more constructive to me. Yes I do pause quite a bit and I understand that this way of reacting is not for everyone. I am always in the moment when I react and do not know when I will pause. I too have watched reactions and some do it for me and some don't. We can choose. I'd like to believe that those who want to see the uninterupted videos or performances are at liberty to do so and I always try to direct viewers to the channel or videos in my descriptions. Can I promise to pause less in the future? Right now, no... but I appreciate the time and effort you took to voice your experience. I will keep that in mind.
Baby Monster has 3 High range belters. Pharita, Ahyeon and Rami. I think the next in line is Rora and Chiquita the youngest of the group have incredible control and they also will blow up as they grow.
Ruka is my bias. Main rapper and dance leader She always comes in hard. Her vocals are really alluring and sexy tones. In every song when she comes in the flow switches up and hits hard.
She s my bias too ❤ She immediately struck me when I saw her intro performance. I just love her soooo much and surprisingly all 6 other girls ended up as my bias wreckers ❤
rora studied the original singer, lewis capaldi's emotions, facial expressions and mannerism so she can do the song justice. she's very expressive in general. she and rami were my faves during this evaluation.
Asa actually does get some vocal lines, she got a third of the bridge in their ballad "Stuck in the Middle" along with a normal pre chorus in like that.
The most honest and best reactions of Babymonster performance so far 👌❤❤❤My bias is Ruka i am so blown away with her stage presence here ❤ i love her so much❤
At the time these covers were filmed, using their Korean ages... Pharita was 17. Rora was 14. Asa was 16. Chiquita was 13. Ruka was 20. Ahyeon was 15. Rami was 15.
@@joenull5945 How do we know Rora can speak Chinese? Same with Rami and Japanese? The others are all fluent in 3 languages but im not sure if those other two are.
@@Paradoxious k-netizens have been talking about it. In some of her pre-YG trainee events, Rora was speaking Chinese on the shows and contests she was on. In some behind the scenes videos and fancams, Rami was talking with Asa and Ruka in Japanese. In addition, some fans are now saying that during that past fan sign and fan call events, Rami was responding to fans in Filipino and French. *Edit to add. The Rora speaking Chinese and Rami speaking Japanese have been said by more than 2 different sources. The Rami speaking Filipino and French is from different sources and is being debated, since it was only a phrase or two and only one different source is reporting only one of those languages and not confirming the other.
@@joenull5945 Yea but those clips of them speaking languages for example I have seen filipino and french... Its a couple words that anyone could learn.. The others are all fluent or conversational in 3 languages.. It makes no sense to put Japanese or Chinese for Rami and Rora based off of speculation and/or videos of them saying hi or how are you? Compared to we know all of them speak Korean and english cause they sing and learn in it and the others speak their native tongue, and of course Ahyeon is fully fluent in Chinese.. Do you not think it makes no sense for YG to not promote/show off Rora can also speak Chinese to get more fans like they did with Ahyeon lol? Yet they don't even hint at it a little.
From what the k-netizens have said about Rora speaking Chinese it was on shows/contests that she was on before she became a YG trainee. One of those shows was from a Chinese network, which was before China's ban on Korean entertainment. YGE lost both of their Chinese trainees that were in the Babymonster project, due to China's ban on Korean entertainment. Both Chinese trainees were recalled back to China by their families and then banned from going back to Korea by the Chinese Government. Even though China said they lifted their ban in 2022, China is still selectively banning Korean entertainment artists/groups from entering China or allowing their media (music, movie, tv) from being consumed in China. Due to the current PRC vs ROK geopolitics and Korean anti-China public opinion, Korean Entertainment companies are actively not marketing towards China and actively trying not to appear to be pro-China (being pro-Taiwan is acceptable). Recent anti-Korean actions by China that have caused the Korean public to be mostly anti-China... New Chinese history books stating Koreans are a Chinese minority group, prominent Korean historical figures being reclassified as Chinese, China Gov stating kimchi was created by the Chinese, China Gov wanting the South Korean Gov to publicly state that Korea will not support or aid Taiwan if China invades them.
That warning is scary 😮 - For Pharita, "the part she just nailed" plus when you sang along for a bit. So nice ;u; - yes, RORA is great with showig the emotions 😭❤ - I think I heard ASA's intro 6 time 😂 I love it. Never having to drink water until this lol - yep, I did hear the part where Chiquita felt short on that line but understandable during that she was still recovering from COVID ;-; awww I almost started tearing up when you clapped for Chiquita ;u; she still did great despite the circumstances - RUKAAAAAA 😂❤❤❤ - Imma say that for the camera angles, most of the others are just standing xD - "killing me softly with falsetto" 🤣🤣🤣 AHYEON is THAT girl. But srsly, they're all HER. Such talented girls TuT - YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT THAT CHARICE. WOW. - being glad it's the last one xD aaa I can't rank them
Chiquita's throat was probably killing her in her performance since she just had Covid. They have small snippets of the artists talking after each evaluation and you can hear she is really horse when speaking. You ofc didn't have the context of watching the entire evaluation series and didn't know she had Covid :) She was struggling with her voice for quite a while afterwards. Btw, i recommend checking out Asa's Look Alive cover before deciding who you might think is the main rapper ;) As far as who is main, lead etc. Its all just public opinion. YG haven't announced any positions or if anyone is a leader or anything. One thing is sure though, all 7 are amazing and its gonna be veeeerry interesting watching them progress in the industri.
All amazing performances, I love them all for different reasons, but two performances had a particular impact! Rami's cover of 'Pick Up Your Feeling' landed at #8 on the Billboard Hot Trending Songs, incredible for a pre-debut performance! Ahyeon's cover of 'Dangerously' was noticed by Charlie Puth who praised it, and certainly thanks to this Ahyeon cover the song released in 2016 won the "Song of the Year - International Pop" at the 13th Circle Chart Music Awards last January in Korea, so 8 years after release! Plus Charlie Puth gifted and produced the song 'LIKE THAT' on BABYMONSTER's debut mini album!
At start, it was hard for me to choose a bias, but after these performances i became biased towards Ruka and Ahyeon and they're still my biases, no doubt i love and support all 7 of them. But ruka n ahyeon hit differently, idk but it's the way they perform, it always caught my eye. Ruka especially knows how to perform, her energy and stage presence is insane. Ahyeon is such a fierce performer and all-rounder(vocals, rap, dance, sp), she isn't afraid to use her full voice, that's impressive.
I really like the constructive criticism, because i really like when youtubers react positively, but when there is some input and analysis, we can learn to appreciate our faves capabilities and flaws.
Love your reactions bro very heartfelt very honest very beautiful also just an FYI...14 year old Chiquita when performing this was just recovering from covid a week before where she didn't have strength in her voice and saying the word' funny' there I see it kind of Fades out because of that and also the instrumentation overpowers it..and Pharita when speaking English has a very good English accent very American because she went to an American English school in Thailand... Chiquita when she speaks English still has quite a Thai accent I noticed

Thanks, I understand. Just know I went into this totally blind as I do for most kpop. If what I see impresses me then I watch more and hopefully become a fan, leading me watching all their other content.
Ruka is all rounder , she can sing, dance, rap, compose and arrange songs, she even leads the members in dancing because she has 16 years of dancing experience and she has the most hip hop DNA among the members even when she is quiet , she has the strongest leader aura among the other members. and that's the reason why YG said that she has a lot of charm and YG is very confident that we will fall under kawai ruka's charm 🦥🔥
To have like 3.4.5 years of experience..traning ..at 13.14..yro ..that's crazy...or RUKA having like 12 years of dancing experience right now is...MONSTER.
For some positions that we know/can infer from intro and line distribution. Ruka: Main Dancer, Lead Rapper Pharita: Lead Vocal Asa: Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, sub vocal. Ahyeon: all rounder centre Rami: Main Vocal Rora: Lead Vocal Chiquita: Lead Vocal I suggest you watch Asa's live performance thats in black and white and you will see why she is the main rapper. I lives rent free in my head, can't wait to see your reaction to it. But the difference between Asa and Ruka is simply Ruka has more "swag" and vibe, where as Asa is all technique, skill, tone, and cadence.
Well u said Ciquita had to push & yes ur right..but that is ONLY BCZ SHE'S COMING TO THIS EVALUATION after 1week of quarantine..having COVID..& bcz of that she couldn't sound as she would normally have..but in that situation & not been able to prepare for this evaluation...SHE KILLED THE STAGE..SHE DID AWESOME

They don’t have official positions but we know for yg company rap so important and yg choose just Ruka this means Ruka main Rapper for sure but some toxic fan says no i hope yg gives them position Ruka and Asa both main rapper and both best dancer in group
They all can rap ..even if not announced yet...they all can play more instruments...they write...they dance...THEY WERE BORN WITH RARE TALENT & SKILLS which would be 2much to enumerate.
This is the problem of just watching the performance but not the last evaluation cuz you dont know what is happening behind the scenes. 🤭 For a little FYI chiquita in this performance is just recovering for COVID-19 that's why shes not a 100% in this one.👌

I really can relate to how much you are moved by the power of the music and interpretation by the members of this group. There is that wow! factor that all of us experience who have been attracted to Babynonster. This is true of their trainers too, as you could see in their sessions together. I don't think others who commented on your reaction mentioned that Charlie Puth, who composed and sang Dangerously, was so impressed by Ahyeon's rendition that he reached out and gifted to them his song "Like That," which became a B side on their album. If you continue to react to Babymonster, I expect that you will enjoy it and the other songs that highlight their vocal artistry as a group: "Stuck in the Middle" and "Dream" Speaking of dreaming, I'm sure you will also like Dreamcatcher. You may be interested to know that they share producers and writers with Ateez. One last recommendation for now - the all-women Japanese band Lovebites. Five of the best rock musicians in the world, classically trained in piano and ballet, and bringing a strong classical aesthetic to their music... Chopin, Dvorak, other Romantic compsers. As well as the likes of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Whatever I say about them, you won't be prepared. Try Frozen Serenade for starters. I never thought they would be my cup of tea till I saw their MV Judgment Day.
ASA is the main rapper, she trained to be a rapper with RUka and Ahyeon but three of them have different style in Rap and yes ASA singing voice is good

Kind of been said. But Chiquita had covid during the practice for this. Maybe it’s a choice but I think she just didn’t get enough practice time to get some of the words how she wanted so she just cuts them off.

Ahyeon is insaneee
The most honest and best reactions of Babymonster performance so far 👌❤❤❤My bias is Ruka i am so blown away with her stage presence here ❤ i love her so much❤
At the time these covers were filmed, using their Korean ages...
Pharita was 17.
Rora was 14.
Asa was 16.
Chiquita was 13.
Ruka was 20.
Ahyeon was 15.
Rami was 15.
Circa late-2023, the languages that the members can speak are (1st, 2nd, 3rd):
Ruka = Japanese, Korean, English.
Pharita = Thai, English, Korean.
Asa = Japanese, Korean, English.
Ahyeon = Korean, English, Chinese.
Rami = Korean, English, Japanese.
Rora = Korean, English, Chinese.
Chiquita = Thai, English, Korean.

Rora is emotional singer
I love her
❤They were trained very hard for average 5 years before officially OT7 debut on 4-1-2024 with Sheesh❤
This is the training years:
RORA, RUKA, ASA, RAMI = 6 years
AHYEON = 5 years
PHARITA = 4 years
CHIQUITA = 3 years
RORA, AHYEON and RAMI are my favorite BABYMONSTER members. Their voices are great. ❤
That warning is scary 😮
- For Pharita, "the part she just nailed" plus when you sang along for a bit. So nice ;u;
- yes, RORA is great with showig the emotions 😭❤
- I think I heard ASA's intro 6 time 😂 I love it. Never having to drink water until this lol
- yep, I did hear the part where Chiquita felt short on that line but understandable during that she was still recovering from COVID ;-; awww I almost started tearing up when you clapped for Chiquita ;u; she still did great despite the circumstances
- RUKAAAAAA 😂❤❤❤
- Imma say that for the camera angles, most of the others are just standing xD
- "killing me softly with falsetto" 🤣🤣🤣 AHYEON is THAT girl. But srsly, they're all HER. Such talented girls TuT
- YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT THAT CHARICE. WOW.
- being glad it's the last one xD
aaa I can't rank them
Chiquita's throat was probably killing her in her performance since she just had Covid. They have small snippets of the artists talking after each evaluation and you can hear she is really horse when speaking. You ofc didn't have the context of watching the entire evaluation series and didn't know she had Covid :)
She was struggling with her voice for quite a while afterwards.
Btw, i recommend checking out Asa's Look Alive cover before deciding who you might think is the main rapper ;)
As far as who is main, lead etc.
Plus Charlie Puth gifted and produced the song 'LIKE THAT' on BABYMONSTER's debut mini album!
chiquita was sick during that evaluation.. shes really good in the mid check
Its funny,most of the reactors, reacting to a person,not even try to know the background of the artiist..just saying...
In fact she had just turned 13, this was recorded in mid-April 2022
For those who had watched the Final Evaluation series.. we knew there will be a "Blind Test" evaluation conducted by the YG Entertainment CEO where he will be evaluating all the members "Vocal Singing" capabilities without looking at their performances.
In that final "Blind Test" evaluations.. Pharita & Chiquita were both tied on 1st place (Same Score)... So we could only imagine how good Chiquita's rendition of "Traitor" will sounds like before she was down with the Covid.
Not biased.. i'm OT7 btw.. just need to stand up for Chiquita when needed.
@@lancecooletamador5629 who would think if they are sick when reacting to a singer ? lol.
Thanks, I understand. Just know I went into this totally blind as I do for most kpop. If what I see impresses me then I watch more and hopefully become a fan, leading me watching all their other content.
Ruka is all rounder , she can sing, dance, rap, compose and arrange songs, she even leads the members in dancing because she has 16 years of dancing experience and she has the most hip hop DNA among the members even when she is quiet , she has the strongest leader aura among the other members. and that's the reason why YG said that she has a lot of charm and YG is very confident that we will fall under kawai ruka's charm 🦥🔥
we cant say that she's really an all rounder yeah she sang but the clips are not enough and she cant support
She’s only rapper and dancer not a All rounder.
@@CLO619 she can sing , composer and arrange songs bro, are u serious dude?!?!! u are jealous of him 😑
@@Krx680 are you talking about Asa or Ruka?? And work or your Vocab BRO
To have like 3.4.5 years of experience..traning ..at 13.14..yro ..that's crazy...or RUKA having like 12 years of dancing experience right now is...MONSTER.
CHIQUITA she was sick and just recover from Covid about 5 day before this solo.
Chiquita is learning to rap aswell at the moment... excited to see when they are going to reveal her rapping in a song :)
Ruka is amazing
Yea chiquita was pushing harder, she was recovering from covid while filming this.
For some positions that we know/can infer from intro and line distribution.
Ruka: Main Dancer, Lead Rapper
Pharita: Lead Vocal
Asa: Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, sub vocal.
Ahyeon: all rounder centre
Rami: Main Vocal
Rora: Lead Vocal
Chiquita: Lead Vocal
I suggest you watch Asa's live performance thats in black and white and you will see why she is the main rapper.
For those who had watched the Final Evaluation series.. we knew there will be a "Blind Test" evaluation conducted by the YG Entertainment CEO where he will be evaluating all the members "Vocal Singing" capabilities without looking at their performances.

Glad u understood why 😂the name & WHY the MONSTERS OF THE WORLD
They are SO TALENTED
Charice Pempengco now goes with the name Jake Cyrus.
They don’t have official positions but we know for yg company rap so important and yg choose just Ruka this means Ruka main Rapper for sure but some toxic fan says no i hope yg gives them position Ruka and Asa both main rapper and both best dancer in group
Chiquita 🫡❤️😈🐈⬛🍒
They all can rap ..even if not announced yet...they all can play more instruments...they write...they dance...THEY WERE BORN WITH RARE TALENT & SKILLS which would be 2much to enumerate.
Ruka asa 🇯🇵
Chiquita Pharita 🇹🇭
Rami ahyeon rora🇰🇷
❤
Asa, the main rapper of the group
Rora ❤❤❤
This is the problem of just watching the performance but not the last evaluation cuz you dont know what is happening behind the scenes. 🤭 For a little FYI chiquita in this performance is just recovering for COVID-19 that's why shes not a 100% in this one.👌
@@kelvinlim2992 okay? So why are you commenting this on my comment what is your point? Did you read my comment properly?
Thanks for checking out BABYMONSTER 😊❤
Love your reactions they are on point. You really should watch the Evaluation videos to get some context as to how they arrived at these performances. I am sure you would be even more invested :)
You need to check the live performances from #1 to #7 specially ASA #4
Asa She is main rapper Ruka main dancer lead rapper ❤
I LOVE BABYMONSTER

Pharita was 17, rora was 14, chiquita was 13-14, rami was 15, ahyeon was 15, asa was 16, ruka was 21 when they did this
Man their Trainee period is:
Chiquita: 3 years

I really can relate to how much you are moved by the power of the music and interpretation by the members of this group. There is that wow! factor that all of us experience who have been attracted to Babynonster. This is true of their trainers too, as you could see in their sessions together.
I don't think others who commented on your reaction mentioned that Charlie Puth, who composed and sang Dangerously, was so impressed by Ahyeon's rendition that he reached out and gifted to them his song "Like That," which became a B side on their album. If you continue to react to Babymonster, I expect that you will enjoy it and the other songs that highlight their vocal artistry as a group: "Stuck in the Middle" and "Dream"
Speaking of dreaming, I'm sure you will also like Dreamcatcher.
Thank you. I have Dreamcatcher on my list. Will add Lovebites too.
Yean Chiquita had Covid and lost her voice just before this performance also she was only 13 years old at this time
一直暫停看了好辛苦…
im from philippines also❤. charice pempenco
charice pempengco, now jake cyrus
ASA is the main rapper, she trained to be a rapper with RUka and Ahyeon but three of them have different style in Rap and yes ASA singing voice is good
Yes, her tone was perfect for the song.👌
Yes! her name was Charice Pempengco but he goes by Jake Zyrus now
Oh yes you know her/him... Does he still sing?
@@EXPECTATIONSSHATTERED Yes! he's pretty much still active here in the Philippines
Ace asa❤
RORA can play piano 🔥
Man we have a lot more to react: u have:
MONTHLY EVALUATIONS ( THE ONES B4 THIS SERIES OF LAST EVALUATIONS)
U HAVE THE : " CHRISTMAS GIFT: "CHRISTMAS WITHOUT YOU"
U HAVE THE ENTIRE MINI ALBUM 7 SONGS
U HAVE DANCE VIDEO: "JENNIE FROM THE BLOCK"
THERE'S A LOT OF STUFF TO REACT ABOUT OUR BELOVED BABYMONS7ER..keep goin bru👍
React their introduction u can find their age and pharita is second oldest she was probably 17 or 18 during this evaluation and rami was 16 or 15 ruka is the oldest she was probably 20+ and Chiquita was 13 she's 2009 rora was 14 she's 2008 ahyeon same as rami
Kind of been said. But Chiquita had covid during the practice for this. Maybe it’s a choice but I think she just didn’t get enough practice time to get some of the words how she wanted so she just cuts them off.
Yes, everyone has informed me of this in comments below. Tbh she's started growing on me in my latest reaction so all good.
ASA ace and all rounder 👑🔥
ASA is main rapper and lead dancer
You need to watch the all the last evaluation episodes. To understand how and whats happening
୧⍤⃝🍿
😂yeah there is no SUB
..ALL MEMBERS ARE "MAIN"
YG does not use main, lead or sub except Ahyeon is confirmed for Center.
YG only uses Rapper, Dancer, Vocalist and Center. Fans like to use main, lead and sub based on their subjective opinions.
Thank you, I thought Ahyeon and Chiquita were great as centers in my last reaction so this makes sense.
you should check bedroom cover by CHIQUITA, you may change she not sub vocalist
The clips you watched are from the Final Evaluation episodes, shot in 2022, But there are another set of solo clips which were filmed farther back (2021ish) they are in Black and White.
