I would think that the tall, skinny storage place would be perfect for camera equipment. Put in a washcloth to pad lenses and they'd fit well. I've been on 8 World Cruises on Silversea and we all have masses of electronics. We'll be on the Dawn in 2025 and I look forward to clearing off the big desk. All of us take magnets and use them to hold jewelry, tickets, the Chronicle, etc on the wonderful metal walls. In 5 months on the ship, we accumulate a lot!
A quick question how do you have to dress is it suits and ties all the time during dinner or any other meal times do constantly have to dress up during meal times and through out the day thanks
Thanks for this. Most ship tours skip cabins, for obvious reasons of course, but it is helpful to get a look at an actual cabin - brochure photos can be misleading
Hi Shatmistha, Thanks for asking There is space under the bed to store your luggage. All though I travelled alone I would say there is plenty of space for 2 travelling together to store suitcases. If you have any other questions, we’d be more than happy to help. Add them here or you can call one of our Voyage Consultants on 0800 008 6677.
Informative vid. Excellent. I am considering a cruise myself on this very ship and would like to ask If you could comment on cruising solo on Silversea. Looks like you were traveling alone as well. I would like to dine alone for example. Is that always possible? I don't mind socializing a bit but probably will be minding my own business most of the time. Is that an OK attitude for Silversea?
Hello Jan - Thanks for your comment and your kind words. I can confirm I was travelling alone, but it was only for a short time so not exactly the 'full' experience. However, Silversea cater excellently to solo travellers - we have many single clients who regularly travel with Silversea and they absolutely love it! Dining alone is no problem - Silversea always offers this option. Alternatively, if you’d like some company it can be arranged for you to dine with other solo guests. I dined alone during my time onboard (I particularly enjoyed having breakfast on my veranda too!)
Hello Lee - exceptional vid and explanation of what to expect. Question - we are booking for the San Jaun cruise early 2023 - the room being suggested by Silver Sea for us is #760 (near 763 the room you reviewed) and I worry that it is on the same level as the casino and common eating area La Terrazza - what was the noise level like during the day and also into the evening. My worry is that this floor will be heavily traveled for meal service all day & night coupled with casino folks heading back to their cabins. How was the noise level for you? Would I be better off on deck 8 or further forward on 7? Many thanks!
Hello CarGuy, thanks for getting in touch. To be honest, I didn’t find the noise to be a problem as Le Terrazza is located at the rear of the ship. You then have the casino and then the main stairs, so the accommodation feels very separate from all the goings-on towards the aft of the ship. However, if you’re still worried, you can always request a room further forward on deck 7. We’ve all travelled with Silversea in the past, so if you haven’t yet booked and you have any other questions, we’d be more than happy to help. You can call our Voyage Consultants on 0800 008 6677.
Does the cocktail table in front of the couch lift up to dining height if you were to have food delivered. I wouldn’t want to hunch down at a low table?
Not in the Deluxe Veranda suite I stayed in. If you were to book a Silver, Royal, Grand or Owners suite they have a dedicated dining area with a higher table. The other option is to dine on the veranda (depending on the weather, obviously!)
That is a great question and not one I had thought to ask. I have checked with our contact at Silversea and adjoining suites do not have adjoining balconies. You may see in the video there are doors on the balconies but these are for when maintenance is being carried out.
@@TheCruiseLine oh shame !! On the spirit was on both sides... My husband takes more clothes than I do 😂 ..going on her in November ..hope to see video from you of the whole ship ??
How Devine! We will be boarding the Dawn in Civitavecchia (Rome) next week! How exciting to be cruising again!

Great video! Is there room to store a suitcase under the bed? Thank you!
Yes, there certainly is!
Your the best, thanks.

Thanks for the info - very useful - can I ask if you can see the tv from the bed - does it swivel. Thanks

Thank you for sharing! I’m planning for next year!
Sorry if I missed it but do they have coffee and tea, and a kettle in the suites? If so can you request some milk to be left in your room?
Great video. When are you uploading the ship review? Thanks
Just getting it ready - should be posted in 24 hours or so!

Looking forwaard to the trip we have already booked in the Med....
Hope you enjoy your cruise :)
Please post a ship tour. Thank you!
It's coming Maria - It'll be out in the next 24 hours!
Nice review, didn’t see a coffee maker though.
Can the television be angled so you can view it whilst in bed?
Does adjoining rooms also have adjoining balconies.

Nice Video. What was your cabin number?
Thank you.
I was in Suite 763 a Deluxe Veranda
Can you remember if the wardrobe had two sides of hanging space ?? Only looked like one-sided ...
Hello Patricia! Can confirm the wardrobe in my suite was one-sided (it was the same on Silver Moon last year) - Lee.

The room looks the same as a room on Royal Caribbean
