This video is genuinely really good. It's well edited and actually provides insight on the topic. Commenting so hopefully UA-cam algorithm picks this up!!!!
1) This is a fantastically written and edited video. 2) I was talking about this exact thing IRL less than an hour before getting recommended this video.
@@AnnoyinglyChipper I’ll keep that in mind for future videos! I actually included it from the video “Fabulous Secret Powers” (the one that goes heyaeyaeyayea) but I’m a fan of the MOTU Revelations and She-Ra series, and watched the original when I was a kid!
Oh boy, I have been thinking of this topic ever since I see those stupid fandom wars within a fandom of a franchise, or work of fiction. How people sometimes are called delusional for reading into a work in one way, or complain that certain characters don't act like they should(AKA like how they WANT THEM to do), and how individual headcannons go on wars for this. This is crucial, considering stuff like this can contribute to the success or death of a franchise.
Bro I was taken aback by seeing this video having barely any views, it's so good I thought you were a large channel! Hopefully you'll get all the recognition you deserve soon, keep it up! God bless ya and Jesus loves ya man!
now I don't exactly have a fanbase so I can't say this, however, I actually think fandom should at least somewhat impact the story, (I take youtube analytics into account when animating, for example, plus I ask people "what do you want out of this series?" and sorta take those ideas into account without actually letting them take over, doing what I want without being bullied and slammed around and forced to rewrite if people don't like it, but rewriting if I like someone's idea.)
@@infinitefun527 Yeah, absolutely! If you really are inspired to make something, then create what you feel like creating, but it’s fun to have a back and forth with your fans. Hearing feedback and seeing excitement when you post something they were looking forward to feels awesome. And the impact of fandom is definitely greater on indie creators, since they’re often fans themselves.
@@ravsucks It's super fun to have a back and forth with your fanbase, even if it is smaller than a crumb Honestly I say you should make more homestuck videos as thats kinda what I'm here for, or a law of talos video if you like that.
