Defender+footman is bad start, they were taking advantage of your magic weakness. And to be blunt the guy running elemental was running the show as its arguably the strongest race in the game (though its close). Defender is weak in melee but its good vs pierce dmg. And its among the cheapest melee so it can be a good cannon fodder to avoid damage on others by staggering. Corrupt race is also very powerful if played right. Mech lacks though in power with no seige and a easy to beat legendary (golem), if this version has Goliath (big mech from goblin shredder) its the better choice. Mech is great support with power plant and shield but it has to be played just right in order to compete well as its not as versatile. They should of gone legendary faster. As far as round 2 you overrate Mountain Giant, for 440 gold its overpriced. Its armor is nice but its easy to beat as it has multiple weaknesses to seige, chaos and hero. (also light armor when the weapon breaks it only does normal damage). They could of beaten it a lot easier using Hydra (massive hp most for any unit) and with Chaos they could of gone twins (bad choice but it'd easily beat them). You were showing a weakness to heavy armor, they should of focused magic and failing that units that stall and allow building up. Chao's infernal is only 500, not that much more than mountain gaint and will win every time 1 on 1 at full hp. And your answer to catapults is aoes that damage mechanical, tornado, conjuration and units that wall them. Catapaults effect does not work on mechanical so mech resists them well. Also legendary Dryad would of been the better play, esp en mass. Its aoe heals everything (even mechanical units), and it heals and buff units as well as summoning treants. You also needed bears to answer undead's golems (for normal damage). Also a combination of Dryads (for pierce vs air) and Furblogs (for heavy armor and units with mana (also good vs some of the air) your allies should of focused choppers (peirce vs 2 of the air units) and a combination of water and air elementals. But his biggest strength is elemental unit spam (air is cheaper but water has more ability to tank) Undead air is the 2nd most hp in the game (elemental has 100 more but it suicides which is realistically a drawback since it means it can't hold the position on the map when it decides to do that) As far as visioneer, its only good when its en mass to help push due to its range, 1 on 1 its meh. And your Dryad is the better choice for caging as it has resists and a heal. Emerald dragon isn't all that good compared to most air units, its a high price, shorter range and not that much more hp than the cheaper ones.
Frankly he's right at the end, they could of had you if they were more aggressive. Chaos has a massive weakness of pierce and magic as almost all of their units are weak to that. Undead lacks ranged seige but is weak against normal, peirce primarily (skeletons, necros, frost drake) Naga's balanced but lacks anti air specials. Tidal is beaten by cages in the corner with spell resist/heals, Hydra you need normal damage or stuns (at least good neutral damage and effects) City of decay is better of Undead's legendary but its decent. It can't stack unlike Legendary dryad (its aura stacks). So its kind of a walking counter. Dryad isn't all that strong by itself (its at its best when its sitting in the back supporting the frontline with other ranged) Undead's other legendary option is Liche which is frail, only good when it has units to tank for it as
@@VimpGaming the answer is sort of. its a walking area of healing that stacks. Its a smaller limited range though its big on the field. But City of decay covers the entire map (but mechanical units are immune) It also has chaos damage. Basically you'd want it to slow down how fast your units died and to form a mass.
@@patg108 I was hesitating a bit but honestly with these crazy income timers I think anything goes at that point thats why you saw me spamming MGs since ww were getting so much gold felt really strong early. I wasn't actually trying more fun comp for the vid 😉

@@patg108 does the legendary dryad counter the city of decay because of it healing? Might have been a better response then
