There are so many billionaires that could invest in this project. The Pritzkers, Ken Griffin, Jordan, Oprah. Leave tax payers out of this. The 1% has it.
Sign me up! Excited to give up a large portion of my pay for this! This is one of the few things we can all rally around. Money will come back to the community in the future.
Why..why...why..do so many owners want to destroy their gems, such as Soldier Field and build these big ass stadiums!? It's not effing Disneyland! You're just going to see a football game! Also, football was meant to be played OUTDOORS, in all weather conditions! It's fine the way it is! Soldier Field is a true treasure of Chicago! Just make enhancements, upgrades instead of building a 4 billion dollar fiasco! If this goes through, only the very rich will be able to pay to watch football in Chicago starting in 2028! The people of Chicago are the only ones that can stop this by putting it on the ballot and vote on it, just like Kansas City did with it's proposed downtown stadium. I guarantee you that Iron Mike would agree with everything I just said!
Because it’s a business it’s about making money, football won’t be the only event bringing revenue from that stadium, concerts & other events such as wrestling
…and how much “new” sales tax revenues are they projecting for this venture or is this a one for one swap? Do they expect a couple of mixed use public ball\green spaces to generate increased revenue for the city? Just wondering.
🫣…can I get a ticket for a Bears game? Yes you can…you got $500…big ones? What do I get in return for paying for 2/3 of this boondoggle 🤔? Answer: you get to watch da bears stumble up and down the field😂. What else do I get? That’s it…GTFOH😂.
Thinking tax payers paying a portion when most can’t afford tickets to the game. Attending professional sports events are for the upper middle class and the rich

WrestleMania definitely going to Chicago now
Tell Kevin Warren the goal is to win a Super Bowl not exactly host one.
Despite what fans think, The real point of professional sports is profit. To make money first and foremost. Not obtain pieces of metal

It’s not the original Soldier Field. That Stadium was torn down. They only kept the columns and kept the name. The new Stadium is going to be great
Soldier Field was ruined the moment they did the renovation

Not a dime from taxpayers and charge Bears for using public property at going rates.
To crowded no parking

That’s exactly what’s gonna happen. It’s gonna cost 2k to go to the game
