@@linkman4432 There is a perception of time. But it's inside a videogame. The time runs only when the SNES console is powered. I guess he thinks it's 1996 because the SNES console was unplugged the whole time, until these folks decide to plug it in during cleanups (detention), and find themselves in the same situation. Because it was unplugged, the inner time wasn't ticking, so the game was actually frozen, thus Alex had no idea that much time has already passed, because he was basically frozen in time. The game returned them all into their correct times when they finished the game together. That means Alex returns back to 1996, which essentially means the "Freak House" no longer exists, it never existed. The game corrects the timeline upon finish. Only the players have recollections of the memories. That stays true to the original Jumanji film from 1995 with Robin Williams.
Every time I watch this, I think of Jennifer Kesse (the young woman who disappeared in Orlando back in January 2006). I live in Orlando and missing posters of her were put up everywhere when I was 7 years old. The posters are still up in those same places today. I just can’t help but wonder where she might be or if she’s even alive. I’m always picturing myself to be right here and discovering that I probably just met Jennifer and she didn’t even realize how much time had passed since she disappeared. I know what I’m saying has nothing to do with Jumanji, but Alex and Alan’s situations just makes me think of this. Even with Amelia Earhart disappearing.
I think if Robin Williams reprised his role as Alan Parrish, he'd be the one guiding Alex Vreek through a game that can hold someone captive for two decades.
Just a theory but I think time inside jumanji, time is faster now since it's no more a board game but a cartridge console and Alex was only there for 5 months
@FerretJohn Alex also mentioned he was there for only 5 months which he believed was happening in real time outside the game even though it was more than 20 in real
@@crashpal He never said he's been there for 5 months thought. He litterally said he lost trick of time. (Thought the idea that time goes faster in the game is interesting)
@@crashpalLol Alex never anything about, "5 months being in there" ! He said that he think he's been there for some months plus game consoles before the 2000s don't give off time norless have an vision for when you turn on the game console, those 1900s game consoles needs a game disk or a game cartridge just to work/give vision so once anyone or anyone under the limit of five players are formulated together just to continue the journey of Jumanji then that one person or the couple of them will be sadly stuck there until the total of five people are summoned there just to complete the quest !
@stevel.2759 those words maybe 90s words but it's still some people using them today but it's just errie or unaware to hear anyone say those words especially when living in a different generation 😅😅
The music at the end was very load and anoying. Nearly blew out my eardrum.
I had my volume all the way up because it was so quiet until the outro
Same here jesus fuck that was loud.
Almost had a heart attack😂😂
😂😂😂
Scared the shit out of me 😂
I think Alex trapped in the game for 20 years is referencing to Alan trapping in the game for 26 years and came out not knowing everything changes
Or to the fact that there's no perception of time in the world of Jumanji.
Duh lmao
It doesn't work with the OG Jumanji. Alan went in about and came out a man, Alex went in and came out the same age
@@simpudney8191 i mean it did change from a board game to a atari like system

💀
It's sad that young men and women disappear.😭😥😟
Only God knows where they are...
It's sad that Angels don't help out and find missing person..
Alex desaparece en 1996 y las desapariciones por los backrooms comienzan en 1996 😑
Also the malaysian flight that dissappeared
she was probably dead before the posters went up
“But still fly”
“Eh (disapproval)” LOL
Bro I almost fell off my bed because of that outro
Y did u hv it up so high? Lmao
That fuckin outro caught me off guard
Me: well this is sad
Me a few seconds later: god damn that music!
Y did u hv it up so high? Lmao
Thank you guys for letting me know about the outro music, I turned the volume down at the end 🤣
If Robin Williams was still alive when this came out, I wonder if he would've accepted played Alan Parish again for it
Maybe. I think if Robin was still alive, this movie would have been completely different.
I think if Robin Williams reprised his role as Alan Parrish, he'd be the one guiding Alex Vreek through a game that can hold someone captive for two decades.
Spencer: “Cindy Crawford?”
Fridge: “That’s your go-to?”
Me: “Hey, I think Crawford is very attractive”
I’ll bet Alex was like “It been a Minute huh Alex” when he return to Jumanji in Next level.
bro i got jumpscared because of the music at the end
Kevin was like "damn I know I've seen this plotline before"
Bruh I screamed in fear at the ending my mom was close to me😭😭😭😭
0:42 you've been in this game for 20 years
In 3 years, 1996 was 30 years ago.
2 years now.
Bro the outro is crazy tho
Put a dislike only cause of the stupid music at the end
not even worth a dislike.
Bro jumped scared me so hard i almost had a panic attack and the end
It's true, despite being in her fifties Cindy Crawford is still pretty hot
How was he not aware of the passage of time, when Alan was? Been awhile since I've seen this movie.
Just a theory but I think time inside jumanji, time is faster now since it's no more a board game but a cartridge console and Alex was only there for 5 months
Time moves differently, also different format. Alex was put in the game as Seaplane, a never-aging character, Alan was trapped in the world as Alan.

That outro fucking caught me off guard lol
i’m dying from the outro bro 💀
The music at the end scared me😂
Holy moly dude change your outro
Nice way to break the ice fridge.
Cindy Crawford is 57. :)
And then in 20 years “CAP” will be old
bro played minecraft hardcore irl
this outro scared my shit outta me
The fukn outro LOL
Game = 20 days
Real world = 20 years
The universe is not synced 😭
They really dragged Crawford in this wow lol
She was one of the top models in the 90s. 🤷🏾♂️
I was not expecting the music. Rip ear drums
What a twist 😨
Why put the video in 4:3 as opposed to 21:9?
Those are all 90s words LOL
While I had heard of “Da bomb” and “jiggy”, I had never heard of “fly” or Cindy Crawford
