Hi Spoon, I do audio work from time to time and I wanted to say that you can get rid of background noise like A/C unit or fan noises with a program I used called Minihost Modular with a plugin called ReaFIR, which works by removing background noises live, and after some EQ it can make your own voice sound perfect, so i hate to break it to you but you probably didnt need to move your setup. However it is usually better practice to move it to a quieter environment because Minihost and ReaFIR will increase the microphone's latency.
edit: krisp has never worked nearly as well as minihost and ReaFIR for me. but if it works for you then dont listen to me :)

I was recently stung by an Australian box jellyfish and given a 3.2% chance of survival. After watching this video in my deathbed knowing it was the last thing I would watch, my eyes finally started to close. Out from the enveloping darkness came a light in the form of spoonkid. Since this event 30 minutes ago, I not only am fully healed, but now have decided to run for my local municipality, where I will make scoot bikes illegal, and have also purchased a new swiffer wetjet powermop starter pack for everyone in my jurisdiction.
