Yea, smørrebrød isn’t really considered breakfast in Denmark, most commonly a lunch item. I think the most normal Danish breakfast is a couple of painkillers and a cup of coffee

Ever since he did the stint as a Leprechaun dumping Shamrock Shakes on his bosses, and also as the Diaper Genie, I too have thought Chase is F-I-N-E.
I can't believe we're 20 seasons in but this show is just as fun to watch as it was when I started who knows how many years ago. That's a real feat.

Danish person here: thats not true i eat smørrebrød for breakfirst sometimes just not "højtbelagt" and i know other doo too, some of us even eat it as a snack made to chips :)

We do eat them in Sicily for breakfast and we have also granita (flavored shaved ice) which we eat with a brioche as well. It's very common in the summer to have them for breakfast, but some people also have them in other seasons as a snack, i usually have my first around March or April. It's Amazing.

I am Danish and we would NEVER eat that for breakfast. Smørrebrød is very much a lunch item and we would never ever have fish for breakfast. The closest thing to this we would have would be ryebread with cheese and jam. Also the caviar is a bit over the top for most Danes, I guess you might find something like this at a slightly fancy old school hotel. But on their lunch menu

I'm so happy that you featured Singapore with our Kaya toast with boiled egg and soy sauce! The Mythical Kitchen actually did a pretty good job at recreating the dish, and I'm glad that you both enjoyed it too :D It's one of the most traditional simple breakfast foods here ~ comforting and delicious ^^

"Smørrebrød" is for sure NOT a breakfast item in Denmark.
It is in 99% of cases eaten for lunch - Danish breakfast is something along the lines of Cornflakes with milk/yoghurt or some pieces of bread with jam and cheese.

@@SpicePrincess1890 it really depends tbh....like I prefer oatmeal with milk and then either a teaspoon of sugar or raisins on top. sometimes I make it into a porridge with cinnamon sugar instead - or if fancy vanilla powder to make it taste like one of our beloved Christmas desserts "risalamande"

Love the show! My roommate and I love to play along with these challenges even though we can’t taste the food but I wish you guys wouldn’t announce where the location is till after Rett and Link throw their darts. So we can all play along!
if u just look away when they do the title card for each food, u can put the subtitles on and u wont be able to read it anyways
