asslam alaikum , i have a question from sir Nouman ali , if Pophet(pbuh) didnt do the tafsir , i think this itself contradicting the quran like as you mentioned that the duty of the prophets was to purify people and to teach them Al-kitab(not reciting but teaching) and Hikamh and as Allah said in the Quran that the prophet does not speak by himslef but the revelation which is revealed on him, so if prophet was to do tafsir this is also as important as Quran itself maybe for understandble isnt it? secondly all these sects in islam was purposely made by islam himself i mean every sect has thier own tafsir? like i cant accept it until you give me a reasonable answer
      jazakallah khyr

@@jaffar_aesthetics Prophet pbuh didn't do tafsir and spesific explanation of all ayat but he lived as if his character was Qur'an, so replicating his acts on a given situation means you are following the sunnah and acting in line with the Qur'an.
Why assume it would be better for him to do tafsir of all of the Qur'an? He didn't, so this must be better.
Firstly, he wouldn't have time to explain all of the deep meanings of the Qur'an.
Secondly, if he explained one meaning, it could have limited the meanings of the ayah for muslims, and muslims wouldn't think more about it themselves.
Thirdly, there would be no room for difference of opinion "ihtilaaf", and we wouldn't have different madhabs to chose from but that would mean practicing islam would be harder. When something is not explained in the hadeeth clearly, there is room for different opinions but you get rewarded more if you understand it right, and you even get rewarded if you get the wrong answer but your intention was pure. And sometimes there are more than one right answers in some issues.
Qur'an not being explained to the smallest detail by prophet pbuh creates an oppurtunity for us to learn and apprecieate Qur'an on another level, and it becomes a test for us to try finding the deeper meanings (or if we choose to misinterpret, we fail the test), and we in the future now can have different information which was not available back then, which opens new doors for interpretations. And when you find gems from the deeper meanings of the Qur'an, it's an amazing feeling which connects you with Allah in a one to One, special way.
Another reason we don't have explanations of certain things from the Qur'an or we don't have certain knowledge - which God hid away from us, which he didn't mention etc. - is because it could have caused later generations to misinterpret things and go in a very wrong direction with it. Allah knows everything, past and the future, all the possibilities and he reveals things in a measured way, and he writes our destiny through it.

Brilliant question regarding tafsir! May Allah reward that person and give him increase in his understanding of Quran and Islam. In this world of endless tafsir, books, videos, you forget to read Quran the way it should. This question effeciently answered by NAK encourages you to develop your relationship with Quran first and foremost even before tafsir by contemplating on the ayath just how it was onto the people at the time of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w)

This is my note from this lecture:
The reason why our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) did not interpret the Quran is because Allah sent this book for people to ask questions. Allah says this book is for people who will contemplate the Ayats. If Prophet Muhammad (SAW) interpreted the Quran then people would not think about the ayats. Once the Prophet has spoken who would speak after that? There is no need after that.
The Quran is the first time when Allah combined two separate things into one. Before this Allah gave His message and also gave them some miracles to His Messengers. The purpose of the miracle was to validate the message. Most people used to accept the message after witnessing the miracles and vice-versa. Showing the miracles were the last resort. Before that the Messengers used to give dawah and when the dawah didn’t show a result then they showed the given miracle. For example, Musa (AS) first gave dawah to Pharaoh and his people but when they didn’t show any interest then he showed the power of the staff that Allah gave as a miracle. So, the miracle was a separate thing and the message was another. But in the Quran, the message and the miracle were the same thing.

Histori Adam.Ps.-From the history of the father of humanity Adam, peace be upon him, we must draw conclusions. The first thing that comes to mind is the lie that Iblis invented and thanks to which he expelled Adam, peace be upon him, and Eva, peace be upon her, from Paradise. Lies or deception, this is the way of Iblis. Where there is deception, there is Iblis and her troops.
This is confirmed by verses 221-222 of Sura 26.
Refrain from deceiving and telling lies!!!!!

Those are the actual Jinns mentioned by Allah in the Quran. Later we learn from the Seerah , “ The Valley of Nakhla”

    • @zainabhameed3062
      @zainabhameed3062 Місяць тому

On the way back to Makkah from Taif, the Prophet PBUH camped in the Valley of Nakhla (نخلة), and as was his habit, he prayed tahajjud. (No matter how tired he PBUH was -he has not yet taken a bath from the wounds, the scars have not yet healed, there was nobody there, it's a cold desert- *yet* the Prophet PBUH never once gave up his tahajjud.) And Allah told us what happened next. What happened is a miracle the eyes of man cannot witness - Allah says, "When we caused a group of jinn to come past by you, and they started listening to the Quran…" [Quran, 46:29] - Allah caused a group of jinn to come past the Prophet PBUH as he was praying and reciting the Quran. Allah says the jinn didn't come out of nowhere, rather, He caused their travel plans to go such that they crossed paths with the Prophet PBUH. Further, Allah says, "...When they were in your presence, they said [to one another], 'listen quietly'" [Quran, 46:29]. Subhan'Allah. If the world of man had rejected him PBUH, the world of jinn says listen quietly. "Then when it was over, they returned to their fellow jinn as Warners" [Quran, 46:29]. They listened to the whole of the tahajjud, and they were "transformed" not only into Muslims, but "Warners" (mini-Messengers, scholars, and teachers). Then they said to their people:
"O our people! We have just listened to a Book that has been sent down after Moses. It contains the Books that came before it and it guides to the Truth and to a Straight Way. O our people! Accept the invitation of the one calling to Allah and believe in him. Allah will forgive you your sins and will save you from a painful torment" [Quran, 46:30-31].
This verse shows us, by the way, that these jinn were in fact Jewish jinn - they had believed in Musa and the Tawrah. Indeed, jinn follow the religions of man. There are Jewish, Hindu, Christian, Buddhist jinn, etc. And when these Jewish jinn heard the recitation of the Quran, they knew the Quran came from the Same Being who had sent down the Tawrah, so they converted, went to their people, and called them to Islam.
Therefore, there is a huge symbolism here from Allah SWT that, "Ya Rasulullah, even if all of mankind right now you think they have rejected you, the world beyond mankind (the world of the jinn) has accepted you." The conversions of Addas and these jinn are not out of the blue. There is a huge symbolism.
And this was the first batch of jinn converts to Islam. And these jinn went to their people calling them to Islam. And they then came back to Makkah while the Prophet PBUH was in Makkah, and they learned Islam from him. We know this from Ibn Mas'ud RA, who was asked by his student Alqama ibn Qays (علقمة بن قيس), "Was anyone there when the Prophet PBUH witnessed the Laylat al-Jinn (ليلة الجن - the Night of the Jinn)?" He said, "No, nobody was there. One night, we were with the Prophet PBUH, and then he disappeared. And we looked for him everywhere. And we could not find him. And we thought he had been kidnapped or assassinated. And we spent the worst night of our lives, until the morning broke and we saw him coming from the direction of Ghari Hira. So we said, 'Ya Rasulullah, where were you?' The Prophet PBUH said, 'One of the Callers of the jinn came to me telling me that there is a congregation waiting for me. So I went out to meet them and recited the Quran.' Then he PBUH walked with us and showed us their campsite - the fires they had lit and the after-effects of that." This is the version in Sahih Muslim.

The Jinn he talk about are actually human beings. The Quran came for us human beings. Not for invisible things.
Maybe this jinns were the people of taif. They were Christians, according to the Quran. See 72:3 "nor a son". The Christians believed Allah has a son. Jinn could be people of different classes or people we don't see in normal day life
.. next to this, it could also be a prophecy about the time that the Christian nation, the west, will listen to the Quran, at least a group of them and they will become Muslim... this is what we see these days..

The author of that text begins with pointing out "al-jinn" and "al-jinnah" is different, "al-jinnah" = spirits, whereas "al-jinn" means "big fish", so to say. ⁉️
