… beautiful art everywhere … what a relief not to see so many graves with exposed bones like Naples (seeing them all is the top argument for cremation, imho). Your breathing sounds a lot better than at Naples too … sounds like your hay fever is better and maybe not as many choky graveyard “odors” here as there were in Naples. Glad you won’t have to worry about snake bites too … I’m not a fan of snakes (especially hidden ones) so every time you had to walk into overgrown areas in Naples I caught myself holding my breath. Excellent work again Dan
Thank you very much Michael. Yes it felt like a treat to walk around somewhere nice for a change. I think as well as hay fever Naples is a very polluted city which didn't help either, and no snakes is always good for me ha. Thanks again
that cemetery of Naples has (had) no equals in terms of beauty because they had a stronger cult of the dead. The poor administration (cemeteries don't bring votes) and secularization are the reasons of the current decay
Naples is an exception not the rule in Italy. There are a lot of differences between North and Central Italy and South Italy and Naples is known all over the country for stuffs like those.-
Hi Dan. This cemetery is amazing. So clean and orderly. The architecture is awesome and the designs of the crypts are really stunning. I am totally in awe
Dead good walks you’re videos are amazing fantastic and awesome too watch please stay safe and be careful too for the safety reasons thunderstorms they can be dangerous ⛈
Thanks Dan. I had premonition about the weather and hoped you would take your waterproofs😁 Nice Cemetary and the rumbles of thunder give it a special ambiance 👍⛈
Since I opted for cremation decades ago, I do not know why I am so fascinated by these cemetery videos. I guess it is because you make them interesting and show the cultural differences in each country. Your narration is just right--not constantly talking and not too little. You must wear out alot of shoes and be in good shape with all the walking. Thank you!! ⚰️🪦⚱️
Magnificent mausoleums, monumental monuments , amazing artwork. .What a stunning place to spend the day. 🙏🏼🌎💖🇺🇸. 😉. If is a museum! Free to visitors. Love a thunderstorm…
WOW! What a difference from Naples! We are in another world! Just beautiful, artistic, and religious headstones and masoleums. So peaceful, so quiet, so appropriate for a cemetery. It makes you breathe a sigh of relief after being in Naples. Great video Dan! You never cease to amaze me. ♥️☘️
Your walks are 💯 dead good! So much history and culture, knowledge shared by looking at our historic death rituals across Europe... and beyond??! Thank You for sharing! I'd be pretty spooked with some of your experiences, but you just take the supernatural experiences, and weird caretaker stalker experiences on the chin! Love it! Thank You! x
If you ever get the chance to visit Buenos Aires, Recoleta Cemetery is *well worth* a visit. You’ll see Evita’s tomb. I’ve been to BsAs 10x and to Recoleta 2 or 3 times.
Dan….i loved your Naples walks! The shabby side of cemetery’s is a harsh reminder of what will eventually happen to us all! Unless a loving family or city maintains the mausoleums or crypts they will eventually fall to ruin! I personally like the shabby ones! They are more interesting!
This was a beautiful cemetery. Know that may sound weird. Lots of very different stones You did a fantastic job. Thank you. Like to see more in this one 😊
Hey Dan!! Just before 5:04/19:15. you said ;" It looks very inviting" -----then an ad where this lady excited states ;" "And this will make your pants drop!"--- then I clicked off the weightloss ad-- 😂What timeing! I thought this might give you a giggle. Back to your video.
Beside butchering names ^^ nice walk, also part of my anchestores are there, look for a grave from Simeoni family, greeting from an austrian/ italian follower 🙂
Interesting design, most of the privately owned mausoleums feature a building only large enough for stairs to an underground crypt. Very different from Poggioreale of Naples, no? The Italians always lead the world in their stylish designs, even in their tombs!
Interesting things about Italian cemeteries is if you look at the Ancient Rome they had big crypts and mausoleums, so it’s no surprise that modern Italians do the same thing in a way.
The irony of it all. Most of those bodies are better housed than the living. These things are built for the living and not the dead. The dead aren't that interested. What is important to departed souls is to be remembered and to have they're name spoken to others. And no, we shouldn't need a memorial to aid us in doing so. Funny thing is, those who have returned home Mourne us, they are more alive than we are!
Lavish tombs and funerals are not for the dead, but for the living. The glory, opulence and power of a family has always been shown in the tombs (sorry for my English).
@AndreaAlexandroNal no need to apologise Andrea, your English is excellent, better than many English speaking people. Your absolutely right, we souls residing in the body tend to live through the 'ego' in a materialistic world, hence the self pity mourning and elaborate graves, whereas souls who have returned home to spirit form have no need of the ego or material form. It's good to keep expanding your mind but keep expanding your soul also and your spiritual path in life will be more rewarding while living live in Gratitude. 🙏
Oh you should definitely go down or inside if there unlocked. Don’t be frightened to pull back any sheets or lift any lids either. You are far to shy Dan
Dan , do they build up the ground to dig down, or is the underground volts just dug?. I can see why the last few videos had a lot of people protecting their relatives remains, there are some weird ppl in the world who would love to take a skull home 😒
Would be nice to see some more of the stained glass windows in the crypts. I'm not able to donate any money yet hopefully you will consider my request. Thank you

Great work again ,is you're next stop.momumental cemetery in Milan
Thanks. It sure is. The Milan cemetery was closed when I got there so I jumped on a bus to Turin but I went the next day

This is a beautiful cemetery. So nice to see evidence of caring.

It really is well-tended. Pleasant and very interesting to explore it!
Really fantastic art nice to see a well kept cemetery for a change
The sound of your voice is relaxing.

Haha thanks again Ian. Umbrella, shorts and an tracksuit top. inappropriately dressed as always

What a beautiful place. You are so spoilt for choice. Fantastic episode Dan. 👏👏👏👏👏
Where I am from we don’t bury our dead this way. It is fair to say that there is so much beauty in death in this cemetery.
So what do you do where you are after someone has passed?
Thanks
And thank you Tom 👍🏻
the storm makes the walk , a bit more creepy
Sure does....and it gets a lot worse
This is a beautiful cemetery. So much beautiful than Naples. Beautiful statues! Thank you for taking us there Martha
It is indeed and there is so much more to see. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for coming along with me again :) x
As an American, I can only trace my line back 400 years. It is so humbling to see other countries through your lens. Thank you
Cemeteries AND thunderstorms 🤩🤩🤩🤩
What a contrast to Naples! Love all the wild poppies and some of the coloured glass mausoleums
Lovely....beautiful statues and like a garden. Thank you.😊😊😊
Stunning cem and the perfect weather for some of that beautiful if somewhat creepy art work.
It's a fantastic and beautiful place!❤
c'est vraiment magnifique l'art funéraire est ici vraiment mis en valeur.
Wow, such a unique, well-maintained cemetery. Amazing!
What a peaceful place.....now THAT'S eternal slumber!!!

Fantastic job 👍
Walking around in cemeteries is not weird at all
It’s completely normal behaviour
Exploring history and architecture
And sculptures
This was a beautiful cemetery. Know that may sound weird. Lots of very different stones You did a fantastic job. Thank you. Like to see more in this one 😊
Such a peaceful open space compared to naples...its lovely
It’s not weird at all to wander through cemeteries. It’s a way to honor the dead.
Btw, as your thunder storm began so did mine!
Yes this is reminiscent of Tony’s videos at Crypt Door. Interesting to see how the descendants carried the styles forward to the new world.
Nice to have come to my city. 👋
Very well looked after and some elaborate graves.

"Patina Turner" 🤣🤣🤣🤣👌👌
That was a nice walk no skeletons or broken bones to broken up gaskets
Those cemetery is lovely. The other one that was a disorganized cluttered mess was creepy. Interesting, but creepy. This one is much nicer.
Did a little reasearch. Timestamp. 5:38. The frosted glass might be a window to let in light for a underground mausoleum.
The glass is a skylight. The tomb is entered into below ground I bet.😊

Indeed bad timing. You must come during a thunderstorm at NIGHT for maximum creep factor.
😀
Impressive graves
❤❤❤
Patina Turner.....lol
I hear Stromboli is pretty lively over there
Devi andare a Palermo a vedere le catacombe dei cappuccini e la mummia più bella del mondo , una bambina imbalsamata, Rosalina Lombardo 🖤🌹 RIP
👍👍👍
Any catacombs in this cemetery?
These are not just mausoleum's these are M&S mausoleum's.
they want to keep the memory alive in these places and moan about filming.
"Patina Turner." SMH. LOL.

Are you a Scorpio by anychance? We do seem to rule Death lol! x
I felt as if I were listening to one of the Beatles speaking.
Daft info.
Where they put the ashes are called "apartamenti" or apartments!
Just look at all the lines through the words 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 below!!!
I mean no disrespect but are you a smoker? I love your accent, I am from Arkansas in the USA
Does anyone know who is buried in the amazing colourful mausoleum???
Would be nice to see some more of the stained glass windows in the crypts. I'm not able to donate any money yet hopefully you will consider my request. Thank you
They Polish and clean the sepulchers while inside their dead man's bones.
I think they meant that he died in ww1 not 2 as he was dead 22years before it even started
Nino oxilia @ 3:40 into the video
A nicer Italian graveyard!
You do have the worst luck with weather
Thanks!
That's amazing! Thank you Ann x
