That character system one is so weird. Still not sure what to make of it or if it's even useful for me. The stylized landscape and the NPC director looks useful.
Does matt or anyone else know why there's been no free for the month assets for august? we're nearly 4 days into the month and the july stuff is still sitting there. have they discontinued this or am i missing something? help would be appreciated.
Hey Matt, can you make a quick video about how to use VFX spells please ? i tried to figured it out alone but i'm not that good on UE. i used a simple F key to use Niagara shield spell effect and i wanted to take it OFF after like 3 secondes but it's not working... Thanks if you read and answer !
Can you make the player cut the chain that closes the door using the cutter tool with the animation? Can you do it please? I need to learn how to do that

Stay away from that char system its clunky and outdated af ... hard refs everywhere
It was updated from 4.25 to ue5.4 for this and i have no idea why! Worst system ever i got it 5 years ago it was an abandoned project

Make a new First-Person template project. Migrate the firstperson blueprint to the project. Re-do your work from before.
And use components.
