There was some beautiful glassware at the one sale. That pink frosted moon and star candy dish was stunning.
There was a Fenton basket and the green uranium glass.
@@debbylovesyarn5148 I did see those too. The moon and star was the prettiest and most valuable piece of glass I spotted. It was all good, probably high priced, but the moon and star was probably worth grabbing.

I've said it before... somewhere 😊 anyway, there's two types of garage sales. Those that don't need any extra money and just want to get rid of stuff. And those that need extra cash. It does not hurt to try to get a low price. You can feel out the garage sale host intentions. If they want to just unload stuff they might not mind. Oh hey I'm typing this and heard you say my name haha. Hi me again 😂😂

I’ve noticed that some people are selling at eBay “ prices “ like they looked up what others have it listed at and not actual sold comps. They don’t understand the difference or they go by what they paid for it back in the day ..🤦🏼♀️.

Haggling is to be expected at garage/yard sales. It's generally stuff that will get donated or trashed if it doesn't sell during the 2 or 3 days. Except that one, she could have a store.

Likely with the estate sale someone died and the house was part of the estate and the younger family members lived there as well but when the house was sold they had to move in a certain time frame . It happens.

@@TexasGalTreasures I was at one already this year in which that was the case ( amazing what people will tell you at a yard sale lol). I’ve also been to ones where younger relatives have “ piggybacked” a yard sale on to the estate sale. It looks a little weird but usually the reason behind it is pretty simple.
At the second sale were stacks of those little plastic drawers and trays. I would have been grabbing those, to store my listed jewelry. 5:28 JMO, you should have a bag(s) with you to carry your things that you buy,

That estate sale made me think it was grandparents, just by the kind of stuff they were selling. I've seen so many places where the grand kids were spoiled to that extent that it doesn't even phase me anymore. Raising a generation of entitlement is nothing new.

That commentor has obviously never been to a flea market before I sell at a flea market and it is atrocious that people want to give you one dollar for some thing that you have marked at five or four or even two I tell the person ill just keep it I’ll just bring it home I’m not giving it away
That being said, you gave very realistic offer as you always do I when I shop and especially if you’re buying more than one item, there is no shame in trying to get a better deal

Haggling is definttely to be expected , you are correct they can always decline. Ive had several garage sales and 9 times out of10 i would ex ept lower offers. Unless they were infulting offers, example, I had $50 on anice ladder. They offered $10😢

Hi there, i have been watching your ebay videos, im new to this and have a few questions. Im kinda going big on my first attemp, lol. I have a 12 setting of 4 in each setting big plate, reg plate, salad bowl and cup,in total there is 48 pieces. Ive looked them up and they are retired and going for pretty good money, however thats just pieces, im wondering if i should try to sell them out rite or put them on auction. They r going to cost a bit for shipping, so what would u suggest, i would so much appreciate your input cause i have no clue, and thank u so much in advance

Ugh people, you bought it at a garage sale, not Macys lol people are crazy. Sometimes we score and make a huge profit, sometimes not so much. People are crazy.
