hi colin its me again how did you wire up the lights i tried to follow the digram but i cant work it out i am using 24v led strip but when i put the two strips in each side how do i cable them up cant figure it out going to 24 volt seprate power suply can you help with a digrame of yours thank you.
'should be' easy. So you have 2 strips, each with + and -ve wires. Connect the 2 +ve together, connect 2 -ve together. Add an extra cable to -ve and link to one pole of rocker switch. Take another long piece of -ve wire connect to other pole of rocker and run that all the way to the 24v connector that you will be fitting. For the +ve, connect a third long cable to the two +ve above that you joined and that goes direct to the 24v connector at the rear that you will fit. Does that make sense?
@@andreloyer449 Can be, was doing it from memory, but shouldnt make any difference as the switch just makes/breaks the circuit, whether positive or negative. You have it correctly wired at the supply end?
The mini lights weren't my design (apart from the diffusers). I seem to remember the original design had options for inserts, and second design for square nuts.

@@colinhill did you mean run the cable to 2strips to the other side 2strips together is that right .
tried what you told me not working should it no be + wire to the switch what they have in the orignal .

on the prusa mini the lights you made i bought m3 inserts for the frame but they are to small should they be 5mm inserts can ytou let me no thank you.
