Yeongdodaegyo (Korean: 영도대교, IPA: [jəːŋdodɛgjoː]) A.K.A. Yeongdodari (Korean: 영도다리, IPA: [jəːŋdodari]) is a bascule bridge in Yeongdo, Busan, Republic of Korea. Completed in 1934,[1] it connects Jung District ward on Busan mainland to Yeongdo District on the Yeongdo Island spanning the south port of Busan.
Yeongdo District is a gu in Busan, South Korea. The gu itself is limited to Yeong-do (Yeong Island) located on the south edge of central Busan. It attained the status of gu in 1957.
The Korea Maritime and Ocean University and the National Maritime Museum of Korea are located in Yeongdo-gu.

I'm a fan of yours. Many other "walkers" often move too fast or shake the cameras so that it's difficult to catch the details. In the end, after that kind of video I'm just exhausted. But you walk so peacefully and actually take some time to stop for a second or two - there's an opportunity to simply enjoy the view. You're doing a WONDERFUL job!

Yeongdo Bridge is a suspension bridge. In the past, it was lifted twice a day. Refugees who came down to Busan for the war used this place as a meeting place. Such historical value still preserves this bridge.And the scene of Namhang Port, which still remains cluttered beside it, has now become a distant memory.

I love historical walks and my dear brother, this is one of them. I was able to educate myself, from the history of the village. I watched a film recently about the Japanese & Korean war, and I could relate to the establishment of a ship building company & yard by a Japanese man. The film was set in 1886 ‐1889, before then, I did not know much about Korean history. And I love history as a subject.

Hi! I saw your film and I fell asleep ! Yes, this Busan isn't so magic but is important. Economic way! I suposse, in a normal day of work, here are so many people, so bussy! Everyone has own story. Sailors arrived to so many lands. Their life isn't too easy to live. In their life they saw so many things. In their life they fighting with nature, with their arms. They are great travelers and dreamers, with all the stars overhead and all the waves in their brave hearts. So beautiful color of water. This can be a love for a life! I didn't heared seagulls! Vivo en medellín y he estado en Busan. Lo unico similar entre Busan y Medellin a mi parecer son las montañas que rodean y atraviesan la ciudad. Ademas de la zona de Gamcheon Culture Village que es el equivalente a las comunas de Medellín. Saludos.

@@grow1820 I have never been to Busan and it is not my opinion but it has been said that there is a lot of crime in Busan. To be honest, I personally think it is not much more than in major German cities
@@neosworld55 It's a sun cap. Old women often wear it instead of sunglass-or just put on both, mostly to protect their face from sun light and not to get tanned(stay pale) and not to get more wrinkles.

It is easy to smuggle in from the harbor. So it seems that Busan is known to have many crimes. It is a common misconception. Even if there are criminal organizations in Korea, they fight each other for their own benefit, but they do not harm ordinary citizens. And travelers don't have to worry about safety because criminal gangs have almost disappeared since decades ago.^^

It's because it's a place to repair ships. A broken fishing boat often comes to repair and crashes into another vessel that was pending, sinking it, and leaking oil. The entire sea is not polluted.
