i don’t spend any money on WT and the best trick to enjoy your journey through the tech trees is to enjoy the game, just grind some other tech trees i started with germany and keep it up with other countries, i got to the Bf109 F-4, the F4u in usa the il 2 in SU and A6M2 in japan, yes it’s slow but more enjoyable

You're not wrong in one since. It is more enjoyable to work through a tree slowly playing and spading every plane along the way.
However, this only works reasonably up to tier 4. Once you start having to research tier 5 and up, the grind becomes significantly worse. At some point around tier 5, the amount of rp required to spade a plane is nowhere near the amount of rp needed to unlock the next plane.
Not to mention, once you get past 8.0, you start running into a lot of missles, and it only gets worse from there. The game changes completely.
Base bombing becomes significantly harder since around 8.7 and up strike aircraft no longer have air starts, and often you'll be up against faster jets and have faster jets on your team who also want bases.
On top of everything, BR compression becomes a big problem starting around tier 6.
Basically, it's very difficult to get consistent rp in the last few tiers and at the same time rp requirements are through the roof.

I haven’t spent money for the US and I’ve been playing for 3 years, my highest br plane is b-17el and fifth-5n, (f5f for AB) and b17el for rb
thats actually impressive since i have only been playing for just over a year and a half and with no premiums am at the f8f-1B, f-82, and b29 with about 40k rp to go before i get the f2h-2
played since 2013, my top was f3h 10 days ago. i bought f4s, now im flying f16c
it took me 5 years to get to top tier USA Air without any premium what i found was the best way to grind was to use rockets and go for bases and die as quickly as possible and go into the next match.
I got to rank 7 which was old top tier in 140 hours. I swear $60 saves many many many months of grinding. Got the su27 in 7 days and 290 games with mig 23 and su25k when on sale
You're using a Premium account so you get double everything.. Without it the rewards are absolutely abysmal. When I run out I don't even play.
Not to mention the dang tree is almost researched....a real "I grind a whole tree without premiums video" should start with nothing researched like... a brand new account and start at rank 1 and go from there.
I've done my German tree like this.... branch by branch line by line spading every vehicle from left to right bottom to top

All you need to really have is good aim and you can easily grind realistic most times you arnt getting into a dogfight so you don't really need to know the other planes
The first 1 minute is the whole US tech tree summarized.

i almost completed a whole ussr air tech tree without spending money on progress/sl in like a 900 hours? i need to reaserch some planes on rank 7 and 6, it was not pain, it was fun
I reasearched up to the MLD without premium time nor premium vehicles a.k.a as a broke f2p. I also had the t-64, it took 4 years to get there. I folded when the mig29 came out and bought the german starter pack for the premium time and now I bought the 180 days.
To anyone who is f2p, your time is not worth it, go outside.

I found a way to grind air trees so easily. Sim battles. Helps with stock planes and gives like 8k for 1 hour of play. However high skill roof

Is this supposed to be hard? I’ve used a premium aircraft maybe a handful of times but never to specifically grind vehicles. Just spade the aircraft you’re flying before moving to the next and keep it up. You’ll have about 6 vehicles researched and waiting for you until rank IV or V.
It is hard play free to play and you will understand it all
