This is the best character deck profile I’ve seen! So many others are missing cards to try fit it down to 40 but I just want to see them all, you have cards even I didn’t realise he used in duelist kingdom well done man😊
honestly i like the prifile very nostalgic, i recently posted the yugi anime deck on my channel, so i just been watchi g random character profiles and i stumbled on this one and its very nice
When you rewatch the show against Bakura he showed like 5 monsters he never played but were in his hand. That duel Tristan, Tea, and Joey added their favorite monster cards to his deck so besides Cyber Commander, Magician of Faith, and Flame swordsman….i think the other cards he played and saw in his hand were in his actually in deck. Some of the monsters were anthrosauraus, skull stalker, basic insect, etc.
All you need is time wizard. Technically it was in grandpas deck before he gave it to joey which is why dark sage is a part of the combo. Also you could technically say that the same deck was used in the video game against the big 5 so he would also need dragon master knight.
To be fair, I made the same deck after Konami didn't give what they said and have it put up. I also put blackland fire dragon into the deck because it's I believe the only card we see yugi play from his own deck. @@ThePhantomMichael
When it comes to character decks, I usually keep it to 40 cards and maybe add in some other cards to help it run better- it does sacrifice accuracy, but here's how I see it... in the anime, not only did the game work differently but some of the cards weren't even printed in the OCG/TCG so it'd be impossible to even build a 100% accurate deck anyways... (also, I play ritual monsters from the Extra Deck)
-Blackland Fire Dragon (this was not part of his Grandpa’s Deck -Horn of Heaven (this was only in his “fun” deck vs Bakura) -Breath of Light (Animation Error) -Torkite (I don’t remember this at all)
In the video I mentioned we’re all the cards came from. Horn of heaven was used by Yugi in battle city as well. It could have come from tea though. Breathe of light was definitely an animation error though.
Yugi never used Rude Kaiser in the dub he was holding the card in the hand, but the dub does put random cards in the players hands am sure the Japanese version that was some random spell.
I think that during the events of Duelist Kingdom (and possibly throughout the whole anime actually) it's implied that the monsters created by fusions don't actually have associated cards with them, they just manifest after polymerization is cast, until GX when they introduce the fusion deck and Jaden's fusions. I could be way wrong and off base here, its been many years
These were the most iconic cards to me as a kid. I had a lot of these in the original Yugi Starter Deck. I miss the vanilla card days.

Yugi set it in the first duel against Kaiba, its destroyed by the Judgeman or blue eyes I don't remember exactly.
@@VEOD93yeah it was Judgeman. It got clubbed in the head before Yugi brought out Dark Magician while he was trying to pull the Exodia pieces.
