This weekend I almost bought the 2021 AMG GLC 43 ..... till I learned that MB is going to improve most of the inside cabin and specially the instrumentation of this model, it is going to be mostly copied from the new S class which is superior to this current version. I thought that waiting few months is worth it and getting the much nicer and better instrumentation. I currently own a 2020 BMW X3 M40i which is superior in power and acceleration over the 2021 AMG GLC 43 which I just test drove this past weekend. The X3 has 382 HP while the GLC has 384 HP but feels lethargic compared to the X3. But I hate the Bimmer's brakes, very touchy and hard to modulate for a nice and smooth braking. I don't believe that BMW will design, engineer and manufacture such a model with horrible and irritating brakes.
My dealer told me the 2022 GLC’s will be more or less the same while it’s brother C class gets the new upgrade this year. You’ll have to wait for 2023 to get the new look GLC’s. Not only that, but they’re going away from the v8’s and the v6’s in the AMG models in favor of a hybrid 4 cylinder turbo.
@@KC_Smooth This a a good possibility, only time will tell for sure. But if the new model is delayed then of course I will delay my purchase as well. I will not buy a car on its last year of its model run. I also will look at other makes, so if Mercedes is slow they may lose me as a customer.
Do not like the new 2023 interiors lack of buttons. Love the look…the style is cool, but please just give me buttons. I’m happy with the twin Turbo V6 vs the new 4banger+mild hybrid. It just sounds sad to me.
