Lol.. for the record.. there wasn’t any mean/foul language involved. However, he did scold me for spending money on the full set of toiletries just to have a shower
Yeah, the open compartment wasn't as bad as we thought it would be as it wasn't packed/busy. Mind you, there's also another option where there's no compartments at all. Just open floor.. can't imagine being able to sleep at all :)
the ship MS FERRY has been sold here in the Philippines ship company of 2GO and its name here is MV 2GO MASIGLA and it just arrived here from South Korea😢
@@stan_Jesus_for_live_longer I'm not across a regular ferry service between Korea and Philippines. Although I have heard about plans for cruises between the two countries.
@@awonglk yeah hopefully there's a ferry between Korea and The Philippines bc plane tickets to go abroad are so expensive and bc ferries are a lil bit safer than planes to me

Hello, can you share the link where we can book the ticket with Ocean Vista Ferry? we are very interested but I cannot find their website and cannot see their line being sold on 12go Asia. Thank you!
You can find their website here: www.oceanvista.co.kr But it's pretty much useless unless you understand Korean and you have a local credit card to pay with. Instead we booked it via online chat on their official Kakao account. Using a bit of Google Translate and a bit of patience.. you can reserve a room without upfront payment. Here's their Kakao chat channel: pf.kakao.com/_vxdxjTs You can pay them at the terminal when you arrive on the day. Hope that helps.
Their website is here -> www.oceanvista.co.kr/ However, I notice it has been restricted for use in Korea only, and you need a Korean issued credit card in order to pay. I did not book from their website at all. Instead, I downloaded Kakao messaging app (on your mobile).. and you can reach them on their official channel by searching for: 오션비스타제주 With the help of Korean translation to English.. you can book a room without any upfront payment. We paid for the room when we went the to terminal on the day Alternatively.. you can try to reach them via email - psg@oceanvista.co.kr
2 weeks is a nice length to cover Seoul-Busan-Jeju. I personally think the ferry is worth it for a bit of "off the beaten path" adventure. It only takes one extra day out of your schedule and you'll get to see a more local Korea too. There's sights near Samcheonpo that we didn't cover because we chose to leave Busan late in the afternoon. But you can easily fit in a bit of sightseeing too if you leave earlier. Really depends on what you are looking for.
“For fun. FOR FUN! YOU-” gets cut off. I can’t 😂

Found you on reddit! Thanks for documenting your journey its beautiful
Welcome!
Nice video, thank you. Surprised that the "room" is an open compartment like that!

Thanks for that info. At least we know there won’t be a Busan-Jeju ferry anytime soon.

i am wondering what your kid thinks...LOL. Well done Ozzies!
He's good with it :) it was only a rather short overnight stay. Might have been a different story if it was over multiple days.
Was it worth it? I'll be in SK for 10 days to 2 weeks and want to hit up Seoul-Busan-Juju

After Sewol, I can understand ferry's not being a popular choice
Yeah. Totally understandable. But it has been a while though. Such a shame that not more people are taking those ferries. It's such unique experience!
Damn, pretty good
