Looking at Dusan's goals chart last season he is either bully or being bullied, against top team with better organization and better defender he is missing, but againt the like Cagliari, Frosinones, Lecces he will get 1 to 2 goals and makes up his 20+ goals per season, basically mediocre level. If you want top striker they are the one that guarantee you 3 points against direct rivals. If we have 7 rivals in Serie A (Inter,AC Milan, Napoli as tier 1, Roma, Atalanta,Fiorentina/Lazio and Torino as derby as tier 2 rivals) of if he can make sure to scores and get the 3 points against them then the games against lower club we can win even without his goals as every other players will want to score against them too
This mentality basically the same with our top assists last season which is McKennie where 5 from his 10 assists last season comes against Frosinone, big fat bully. But at least if we want to offload this kind of players we will have stats to backup their valuation
Not including Coppa Italia, he scored 4 goals against top 7 teams, including Inter, Lazio, Bologna out of 10 matches against those teams. Keep in mind all that with us having less than 50% possesion the entire season. In Juventus all seasons he scored 41 goals in 7197 minutes, meaning he scored an average 0.0057 goal per minute. For context, Higuain scored 66 goals in 11006 minutes which converts to 0.0060 goals per minute, all that while being even more expensive tha Dusan, being in a way better squad and coached by Allegri 1.0. Not bad at all if you ask me
@@allegrifan4933 He has similar stats with Fiorentina in 20/21 and 21/22(including half season with us). Just not enough for 80m striker on 22m gross wages
Miretti last year was a couple of crossbars away from looking wonderful. I think he’s very valuable still.

Good points B - back in the day we almost never let in goals, and would find them from one person or another. We seem to be moving away from defense first and will need more production from the mids and wingers - consistently. Dusan needs service and then to finish. You cannot cannot cannot miss penalty shots.

And ill be very honest - for all the buzz, yildiz needs more than a couple of goals. He needs several goals and definitely more assists. Its not all on dusan - if so we’re in trouble

Beppe i've seen that culture of fans who fall from their past hanging fantasy and have over the top reactions. It means that the fanbase have a large disillusioned part with a terror of being inferior and its not the usual juventus mentality we all had in the 00s. Its a pity and you will see for some years that they ll have extreme reactions until we dominate serie a again by winning back to back titles.
