Well, I can confirm that you definitely sound amazing! Is this American or European scrape? Lovely :) !! I have a couple of these reeds and I find them great for practicing. They seem to need a bit more effort to make a round and big tone so good exercise for support, consistency, and embouchure. I have found my intonation needs more adjustment with the Legere for some reason, so have stopped using them when playing in ensembles to prevent surprises! But they last long, are super consistent, and play the same whether out of the box or after an hour of practice. I hope they keep making and improving these reeds, maybe have the price come down a bit one day. I wish I had them as a youngster - would have saved me so many hours of pain!!! Definitely an excellent beginner/intermediate solution for teachers with tons of students crying for a good (and less breakable) reed...
Oh thank you so much for your very kind comment! It's European scrape 😊 Je les utilise surtout dans les églises non chauffées, car ce sont des anches très fiable dans ces conditions 😊 Merci encore et passez une excellente journée ! ✨
@@TimotheeWurth I bought one 2 weeks ago. Initially, very disappointed. VERY resistant, VERY flat. That said, I'm a newbie Oboist so I kept at it. After a week of 1 hour long tones the reed (my embouchure) started to respond much better. I now have much better control of tone/tuning. Still a bit resistant and flat but very useable. Thank you, Timothee!
1: ugh the raw power and talent ❤

What brand is this? You make the reed sound awesome/1
Thanks for the compliment ☺️ it's "Legere Reed medium" for oboe 👍
Which brand of reed? I'm a 72 yo newbie (I play fHorn & BBone), considering trying out some of the plastic reeds. Thank you.
It's a plastic reed called :" Legere Reed" you can find it on the internet :-)

👍🏻 or 👎🏻? You didn’t say if you liked it or not.
@thomassears1432 it’s because it’s a question that he asks the spectators 😉
