Learning a new language as an introvert must be an added challenge. I've been studying for maybe 6 months now but don't have any spanish speaking friends nor the courage to go up to random latinos at, say, Walmart, and throw vocab at them. Through listening to enough podcasts and Dreaming Spanish videos I'm hoping to become fluent primarily through listening (and also reading).
One way I've found to make Spanish convos easier for myself is to tell a native speaker (I've just met) that "Hablo un poquito de espanol." I actually know a lot (ALWAYS learning and perfecting), but, if they are cooperative, that statement will encourage them to slow the pace of the convo and the complexity of their responses. When that happens, it's great; however, more often, native speakers don't want to go at my pace, with clarity and simplicity, and then I just do my best to follow them and hang on. It's an interesting dynamic, and different with each person.
docientos porciento amigo - gracias a ti Nate for speaking what I feel about becoming multi (at least duo) lingual - connect with others with love - in their first language
Rule #1 - You need to find someone speak Spanish around you Forget About online platforms. You gonna get your negative experience when you try online platforms and people so understand what am talking about. my recommendations will be real things and people around you. You can find a course and talk face to face with Spanish people there ıf it is hard to find someone who speaks Spanish in your country. You can also study and aim for level c1,c2 or dele exams. Practice is really important otherwise you gonna forget all your gains. I am sorry About that bro.

Let me save you 11 minutes, guys. The hot tip is to have conversations. Apparently, 99% of Spanish learners don’t have conversations.
Thank you!! I appreciate comments like this so much. Stopped watching after 0:14 saving a lot of bs
Yes, this video was a complete waste of time, and I've heard him tell many of these stories before.
Cry more
Thank you

I told a bartender in Tijuana that I liked her smile (me gusta tu sonrisa). You should have seen the way she looked at me. I really made her day.
