I feel like when people get sponsorships their channels turn into consumerism time…”look at all the stuff I have to decorate with” I don’t think it happens consciously, but I see it on so so many YT channels. I also think there’s a layer there of, the need for us women to “out-do” the last year. Up the ante for more viewers.. Not hating at all. Love this channel, just don’t lose that feeling of cherishing what you had all those years, that’s what brought people to you!
Taking the darkest color from those rocks would be my idea. If you have the color of the paint that is on the house you can always go up the color wheel to the darker tones. Although I don't mind the color that it is. The front turned out SO cute! I love all the red berries mixed into the green. I think my favorite is the three wreaths and the garland and swag greenery w/berries down the sides. It looks like Chewy was so excited to see it all and be a part of the decorating festivities that he even left his cozy blanket.

A lot of Tuscan style homes have beautiful wooden doors, usually in a darker chestnut with windows and some scrollwork. With white trim, dark brown might be better than black. Your decorating is so lovely. 🎅🎄
Even though the style of the home is Tuscan she said she wants to bring in a modern farmhouse vibe with the traditional black and white. House will be white, door and window trim black. It will look amazing.

My husband purchased me two 6-foot nutcrackers and they are the stars of the show. You are amazing girl. Your yard and entryway look awesome!

I LOVE your decorating videos! I am wheelchair bound so cannot decorate for myself - which I miss very much. When I was able, my house was as elegant as any magazine, because I loved coming home from the office to a beautiful setting. Since I've been confined to a wheelchair, my daughter lives with me and provides care. Unfortunately, while she is wonderful, she doesn't care for Christmas since my husband died, so there are no reminders of the holidays in my home. Your videos delight me and for a little while I can go back through the years and imagine my lovely home at Christmas. Thank you!
Been LOVING your YT Christmas music playlist! I’ve clicked on the video at least 5 times so far! I just let the music play on my phone while I’m decorating, cleaning, or just relaxing. I’ve been watching this genre of UA-cam for over 7 years now, and the same YT Christmas songs constantly get played over and over again. And TBH, after several years now, they have really grown on me! They have become a part of my Christmas traditions over the years.. I love some of those songs just as much as the old Christmas classics that I’ve been listening to since I was a young child! I went with red poinsettia theme. I make my own which saves a lot of money. I made over 50 last year. They are on my tree, the garland on my staircase and on the garland around my doors. I made 5 inch, 7 inch and 11 inch.

Big lots has super twinkle lights. They are the most amazing lights I’ve ever seen. I love the multi color. That’s what I use on my tree and outside net kites in my live spiral trees. The twinkle is beautiful. I decorate everything. Shower curtains get changed and florals. It’s all Christmas in and out. Love your decor. Enjoy the day.

I just bought an air fryer for my husband and found out from the fire dept a lot of the air fryers have been causing house fires if left plugged in while not using!l. I just thought I’d share this tip too for anyone else who may have one . ❤

So festive and beautiful! For door and trim colors I would look at the stonework and pick the darkest color from it and repeat on the house, that way everything will be cohesive. I would say white and black would look fabulous, but your home is a very specific style and I feel it would look too harsh. Merry Christmas!
If it was me and money was no issue; I’d do White House, black trim and shutters, lime wash of the stone and a new front door package with glass in a more natural deep oak or chestnut color. Loving the outdoor space! Everything looks so lovely!
If you are keeping the stone you might consider painting your front door a really dark charcoal-not quite black-whatever you decide, I'm sure it will turn out lovely!

Painting the exterior of your house white with black trims and doors will give your house a fresh new look. We did that to one of our rentals and it really brightened up the house. We are now thinking of doing the same to the house we live in right now. So I say do it if it’s what your heart desires. You most likely won’t regret it. 😁

Hi Lauren, I know you were asking about the painting of the door and did not like the neutral color. I was wondering instead of black because I am not sure if the stone you have on the front has any black in it or it’s gray that I’m looking at maybe a darker, gray or charcoal gray to look like it blends in with the brick, but it gives it more depth. Hopefully that helps. I love the front porch decorations.

I was just think maybe a cooper would be pretty with the stone color. It is a little hard to see with coloring. The rustic coloring would bring out more color. Just thinking to add some more look to the door. You always make everything look so beautiful.
I would paint the door black. My house was all beige and white accents. I just had the shutters replaced with black ones. I’m painting the door black. The hinges and brackets on the garage are black too. You did a wonderful job decorating
