Emilie does not increase Kinich's personal damage and is not necessary for him. That is a misconception in the community. The only reason why people put them together is because they both benefit from burning and will both increase their own personal damage, im not gonna pretend they're not good together, but you wont need her. Knowing hoyoverse they will most likely release characters that will make Kinich (and Mualani) much stronger. My bets are either Xilonen, Mauvika or maybe even Citlali. Because Kinich's current team is ngl kinda goofy, his best teamate is Bennett but they do not synergize at all, Xangling can sometimes also have problems with him if your too far away or swining the opposite direction from her burst. And his burgeon team is very lackluster in my opinion. I absolutley love Kinich tho and im praying for a better future for him.

Kinich's playstyle is so fun. I got super lucky so I got him, his and raiden's weapon in like 120 pulls lol. He's a huge upgrade compared to my old team, I love it

the reason you can do 2 sometimes and 1 other times is due to phlogiston his second grapple takes phlogiston which can run out if your in natlan but it can never happen in other nations ( phlogiston is the red bar on top of your hp in natlan )
I haven't seen anyone talk about this yet, but with the artifact set, I'd argue that anything between 35-45% Crit Rate is good enough since he just gains +40% as soon as he enters his E (or fires the first big shot). With 55%, that's 95% in total which is obviously good, but I think you could do with 10-15% less. The build is still really good, dw about it.

I got C1 in 20 pulls and decided to leave it there and go for his weapon, which I got in 30! Super lucky! I have my Chevy up to C3 now too debating pulling more just for her cons but I want the future Natlan characters also.
Hello there You can play him how you want, but from my experience I know the team I know a way you can help his personal damage. Since you're using Xiangling instead of Dehya, Nahida with Thrilling Tales r5 will improve his personal damage since she's wearing 4p deepwood, the book will give him more ATK. It's something I do just for fun /w burning you can test it out if you want lmao
I find C4 Lynette with R5 sacfrag has more consistent pyro app and better pyro uptime than Xiangling, she just requires so much energy even with triple pyro.
Watching the artifact leveling process was painful.. You always maxing out the Exp straight to +20 is crazy to me. I never do that. There's a chance to get *Exp X2* or even *Exp X5* Bonuses (which are completely wasted when you upgrade straight to maximum level).

Emilie doesn't help kinich do more damage- as others have said. mavuika will likely replace xiangling or bennet as an off field pyro applicator/buffer. The interesting thing here is that his best team actually has dehya in it and not bennet

You do not want more than 60 crit rate on kinich. usually you aim for around 50 and you'll be fien, as he'll be in his nightsoul state when he does all his damage. so you want to focus on pieces that have crit damage and atk%. just get a crit rate weapon or use a crit rate circlet and you'll not need to worry about crit much anymore

Yes he consumes the points before his cannon hit the enemies. It's been tested already. You can easily check your character stats when he's about to fire his cannon atk. So the 40% crit rate will always activates on all of his cannon shot

I am finding on the test run, i have issues getting off the final shot of each volley. Idk if it is only a problem on console, but he just doesn't do that big final shot sometimes, or does not get his blindspot bonus.
you need burning to get 3 shots off, and I think you can time 3 without it if you do one big shot > burst > 2nd/3rd bigshot. but typically you can only do two and it runs out before three
@@kazuu_44 Nah with burning, the minimum you got is 4 if you play correctly. Even missing some blindspot will get you 4. With burst and proper gameplay, you can even get 5 shot per nightsoul blessing.

for ur infromation he doesnt take fall damage after using his ability so no need to deploiy the glider before hitting the ground

I think they're both good for Kinich so i suggest to just using WGS since it's already lvl 90 to save you some resources.
For the rotation you should use his skill and then burst and finish his skill so he's getting the buff from the set!!!

before firing the first cannon you can go to that green glowing area it will give you 1 night soul point before firing that will go to 95 crit rate

It's easier with a main dps as with a support/ sup dps
And furina does dmg with many small hits and Kinich does one big damage

i think if you grapple and press E in the faint green cone you do more damage
I don’t think you do more damage directly, just that using normal attacks in that zone charges up your bar quicker so you can use your E cannon more
You just need to slide into that zone (it's called blindspot), it will charge the bar more so you can fire more big shots
