I've heard so many youtubers talk about these products; Alldayanthony swears by solution finish to make trim black again, and project farm tested which trim restorers lasted longest and protected best (he didn't have solution finish in his test though) It seems solution finish is how you get your trim the blackest/newest looking, and cerakote is how you make it stay that way. But I wasn't sure if mixing the two would mess up one of them. Thank you for testing it!
Great video, very informative on the results after application. I was sold on solution finish based on non glossy finish and non slippery, however it did really fade over the one week compared to the wipes. Bonus that the wipes don’t need applicator pads. Great review
Thanks, yea #3 is way better. If u use cerakote on a super smooth trim with no texture, it leave streak behind, in my case at least. I had to re do it by using solutions finish as the base to even everything out and top it with cerakote
@Vito Lim i just let it sit for 5min or so, eipe off residue, and add cerakote after. It been 6 month and it still hold up great. Will be making a 6 month update soon

Any further updates (especially for #3 - cerakote on top of solution finish)?
I think #3 makes the most sense with Solution Finish + cerakote. You need the color + long protection. Thanks for doing this.

@@luedetailing7331 For #3 did you immediately apply the cerakote after the solution finish? Or did you let solution finish sit first

@@luedetailing7331 Nice thank you! My stuff just came in so I'll be applying it once the rain in my area stops haha.
Thank you. That just made my decision..
