Still a really great song to listen to. It reminds me of the good old days back in the early 70's when we were young and beautiful. We didn't have much only a vinyl LP player and this single we played on daily bases over and over again.. This one was one of my favorite and still is in 2020.

When I went a board of my first ship in the navy I heard this song. Will never forget this ship and this song.

He could also attract talent [ Rod, Elton etc] & was an early instigator, icon & catalyst for early R&B at Eel Pie Island .I was there. His humour was wonderful as for the voice .....He had to mime to his own voice because the technical had not caught up .
Love this song, though I think it's kinda funny how he clearly couldn't remember exactly how to start at 1:20.

I can see after looking carefully that this video was filmed in Montreal. My home town. Habitat was the first clue, late in the song, then I replayed and saw the Jacque Cartier bridge then the Five Roses Mill and other landmarks. That was a long time ago now. I was probably within about 10 miles of the filming at the time.
