I watched one of the MCU phase 1/2 films last year, and having it back to basics with actually grounded characters and story, and not universe-defining stakes every single time was a serious refresher

Ai prompt movie is essentially having a talented professional writer writing the movie and the Ai Makes it. Only as good as the writer. Jk rowling could write an entire Harry potter movie and The Ai would make a Movie directly based on what she wrote. No changes, modifications ect. Theoretically in the future, you can just give Ai the Harry potter Book and the Ai would create a movie that is automatically generated by the source material.

I remember Superman in the original movies and in the Lois & Clark show was instantly changing into the costume in a phone booth. Nowadays, he's lazily pulling up his boots in his penthouse apartment while a giant monster is destroying Metropolis. These are "modern day" superheroes...

You know, I'd have to check but I don't think he changed in a literal phone booth in the first movie, at least. I remember that Lois is hanging by a cord and he sees it, he runs to change and the phone booth isn't a booth, he runs across the street and changes in a revolving door... always makes me cheer... and in Lois and Clark, he usually does it in an alley or runs behind a something ... The glorious moment in Superman returns when his clothes fall down a shaft of a elevator.. the honest truth is that isn't a time when crazy Hollywood can make decent hero movies. I wish they would stop trying until they resurrect from their stupid era in the mid-21st century. I admit I won't see that resurrection, but heck, I know it will happen. This woke garbage has always outlived it's due date.

My guess is when the movie come out we will learned its another bait and switch. Superman is not the hero but Louis Lane or some shit like that. The loose fitting suit is an obvious decision to de-sexualized Superman and turned him into a puss in boot who can fly and has some special abilities.

What I don't understand is that they have no problem with James Gunn having his version of Superman casually put on his uniform slowly while the tropolis is being destroyed but they have a problem with Henry cavill's version of Superman that was forced to kill General zod instead of killing innocent people.
It's because people are idiots.
It's because the media and critics told people to hate Snyder films, and certain people blindly hated it.
Superman killing Kryptonians has been canon since the 80's comics, I know it might seem jarring (and certainly not what should be in your first Superman film) but Superman's character allows for him to kill if there's no other choice.
Man of steel had many issues but the single worst offender was him allowing his father to die, Superman would never *never* do that, especially not for personal gain and shows how badly Snyder didn't understand the character.

Its become so clear that the new generation of writers/directors/actors are no talent hacks.
What new generation? These are guys who have been in the industry for decades. There is no new generation. That's the issue. Talk to Me is a film made by people of a new generation. Not a young director Disney uses as a figurehead for a film that the committee already made.

James Gunn is NOT the right person for this character. Gunn is a master of quirky, asshole characters. Superman is the bipolar OPPOSITE of those traits. He's an ultra-patriotic boy-scout. The pinnacle of American justice. The fact that anyone thinks Gunn is capable of doing that character justice is insanity.
Regardless of Gunn's Superman, what they SHOULD have done is give Henry Cavill ONE more movie as an upbeat Superman, the kind of movie the fans & Henry wanted to see. That would have pleased EVERYONE, hurt NO ONE & left the character in a much better place.
So why didn't Snyder portray that version of Superman that you described? You want to blame Gunn for not continuing the doomed Snyder Universe and blame everybody else but you let Snyder off the hook.

I'm simply stating that I do NOT think he's capable of properly creating/caretaking the type of character that Superman is.

Snyder had his darker vision of the Superman universe. I'm not arguing whether that's a good or bad thing, it's irrelevant to my point.
The fans wanted a lighter toned Superman movie and so did Henry Cavill, and they should have given it to us. Period.

The moment had NOTHING to do with the fact that he said the name "Martha" and that it was the same name as Bruce's mother. It had EVERYTHING to do with the fact that in his last moments, he was worried about his mother & that he even had one to begin with. It humanized Superman to Batman and took him from a distant alien who's not a part of this world & needs to be destroyed, to just another 'human' with a mom that he'd do anything for.

The reason why all other supermans have failed miserably since Reeves (a major one at least), is b/c the Reeves one was bright and hopeful ... not dark and dreary looking as if trying to batmanize superman. We need the bright blue and red, classic look back, with a bright movie that isn't dark and grainy. so annoying
He was a shinning light, the true meaning of hope, perseverance and indomitable spirit..
He was broken when his family had to send him away to save him, he regardless of the hardship has rebuilt himself stronger than steel to save humanity as it reminds him of a world he truly misses, he made promises he intended to keep.

The change in the 2nd one appears to be the removal of pending doom....it becomes Superman getting dressed, not Superman taking his sweet time to save the world because he's MEH
The second picture could be showing Superman taking off his boot after a hard day.
The putting on of the boots at regular speed works in the second image because it makes Supes appear grounded and optimistic. Like he's a man getting ready for another bright day. It doesn't work in the first image because of how drab and depressed everything looks- In addition to the fact that there actually seems to be some crisis occuring in the background while he slowly suits up. The only thing I would change about the first image is that I would make the text match with the image just a little better while still retaining the font. But the text is a big step up from the first image which just looks empty by comparison...
As for bright burn, which is funny cuz he's when he wrote it but yet when they were talking about wanting to do a sequel of it, he just decided to scrap it because now he owns DCU
A Brightburn sequel would have been better...

Anyone who says that Superman is moving slowly doesn't understand how photography works. This is a single snapshot of him while he is moving at super speed. You think Superman just spins around and all his clothes just magically change? No, he has to put them on. That's what we are seeing. He isn't moving slowly. He is moving at super speed and this image captures this one moment.

The fan image makes it look like this is a casual day for Superman where he has no real crimes to solve, he's going to go out and save some cats from trees like the true hero of the people.

The biggest issue with AI that I see is people continually saying it's taking the ability away from human to make art AI is nothing but a tool and won't be long before we can ask AI for exactly what we want to see

To me, this image looks like Superman's suit is damaged from a battle, a battle he didn't win. His confidence still shaken, he realizes he has to get back into the fight. I like it.
I don't see how AI is going to end well
How Hollywood can get things _this_ wrong, for _this_ long, and still be in business is astounding.
There was a graphic designer that did the same thing to the Mandalorian promo art a while back. Fixed the lighting, FX and a bunch of other mistakes that somehow made it past into the public eye.
I thought Cavill's suit looked great, just a bit dark. The overall design looked really good, and the detailed looked good too, had a nano-suit look to it. I personally loved Man of Steel, I remember coming home and saying to someone that although he was still the Kansas farm-boy, there was hint of him being alien, not quite human. He certainly looked the part and gave a great performance. People complain about the "killing Zod" scene, but I liked it, he didn't want to, he was forced into an impossible situation/choice. He was very much an "adult audience" version of Superman. From what Gunn has said, he wants to create a more Donner version and I'm fine with that if it's done well. But that image doesn't look like a Donner version. The fabric too dark, it's too textured with all the lines and the neck/cape part looks bad. Hopefully that's not the end result but given that it's an official image doesn't fill me with much hope. Honestly, I have so little faith in anything Hollywood does at this point, my expectations are very low.
The suit looks like Clark tossed it in the junk closet for a few years, but seeing the city under attack he realized he didn't have time to iron that shit out.
They should have risked Henry Cavill as superman again. But they did wrong unto him.

I think rob burnett explained it pretty well that this was just a random shot off screen while he was getting in costume on set. Not an image from the actual film meant to be an actual glimpse of the film. I agree the general public will take this as a press image.

As a faneditor, I like to think I'm one of those individuals who makes good art and a better story in their pjs
A few years ago, there was an article saying that there is a Youish woman's company that "analizes the tastes of moviegoers" and mentioned that audiences wanted Dark depressing tones and depressing color schemes and that Hollywood acted accordingly, which would explain Zack Snyder's movies and the Avengers ones, they all have the toned down colors and while the latest Spiderman movie doesnt look like it, their important scenes take place at night. Seeing how vibrant the colors were in the flash and it failing, part of the reason might be that audiences didnt want vibrant colors and sadly, that company might be correct.
