My favorite thanksgiving movie is Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. Truly the staple of buddy pictures for me. Some of the best from John Hughes. Awesome video as always, keep it up, and Happy Thanksgiving.🦃
Well by the criteria you give... The Warriors could be a Thanksgiving film. Their whole journey from the Bronx to Coney Island is very hard (like the times before the indigenous folk and the pilgrims met and a war didn't start) journey, they have their big conflict and there is a victory when they not only make it home, but they defeat the gang that fingered them for Cyrus' death. Actually that's a big through line theme in Lin-Manuel Miranda's The Warriors Musical concept album (which I recommend everyone listen to! Its great!) especially once they get home to Coney Island. BTW, BTTF is my favorite movie, and you just gave me *another* excuse to watch it through out the year! Thank you! 💜
I don’t see why not! The Warriors is a Thanksgiving movie; why not! Glad you have another excuse to enjoy it and that you have such good taste in movies!
Well I’m a Brit so Thanksgiving doesn’t mean much to me, but Back to the Future gives me reason to Thank something for Back to the Future being a thing. Made life a little less arse. Oh best Thanksgiving movie? Planes Trains and Automobiles. Not a hot take, but it’s the only take
Solid reasoning, though I've always seen the films as Christmassy, by being a sideways riff on A Christmas Carol / It's a Wonderful Life. To wit: supernatural views of how things might go or might have gone, and someone always ends up weeping at a tombstone.

How the hell do you not have millions of subs? Seriously, you are great!
Thank you, that’s very kind of you to say that! I’ll happily take what I can get subs wise haha
AGREED

Right back at you, and yup! I intend to rewatch it this week too since I’m a huge fan of it. That and Rocky are Thanksgiving staples for me!
Sadly, the SA thing with Biff is actually quite realistic... ^.^;
Free Birds is kinda iconic for thanksgiving movies
"…when she should've really been trying to pull George's McFly down." 🤣
Thank you for catching that! I was wondering how long it would take!

@@NicheCaesar Thank you, for both complimenting my taste in movies and for giving me another excuse to watch BTTF and The Warriors! 💜
of course you showed the kermit parade balloon
I’m legally obligated to show Kermit whenever the opportunity arises.

I’m liking the confidence on your choice! And hey, I’m thankful for that too haha

🤯 oh wow, that’s good stuff! I definitely see the It’s a Wonderful Life angle too-Biff’s 1985 is basically a potterville!
@@NicheCaesar Doc / Scrooge spend lifetimes in their obsessions until they learn to love... would make a good holiday video for next year!
🫡 might take you up on that, Tim!
I don't celebrate that racist colonial Holiday, but I do instead of "Spirit Stallion of The Cimmarron" at that day, along with Indigenous people docs
no, i just say cinema and then go back to watching non gangster films
