Your lawn is on point.
+Concept Damn right son
I'm from melbourne and iv'e seen lots of other countries trying to make a tutorial on how to do the melbourne shuffle and this is probably by far the most accurate. You're a bit short on each T step, but everything else was brilliant, keep it up buddy!
Do you mind teaching me?
This helped. Thank you.
it’s been 6 yrs and this tutorial is still helping me
It's been six years and Im surprised people still watch this lol
QsHsNation1 nah seven years im just a kid trying to impress my crush thanks for this video!
Agree with everyone first usefull shuffle tutorial i've seen
I knew how to do the Running man, T-step, and some kicks and spins but the reverse and glide i learned from your video. Thanks a whole bunch, my shuffle now flows and has variety ♡
+Anissa Wilson Your very welcome :)
My shuffling before your video: 5/10
After your video: 9/10
Thanks bro!
Christian Jacobucci bravo
Hey bro, RESPECT!! This is the FIRST usefull tutorial for me after watching over 50 turtorial vids!!(no choke!!) I'm from switzerland, and I tryed german tutorials, nevermind -.- The running man is no problem anymore, the t-step was the first move I ever learnt from shuffling, but par(?) example, at the reverse step, I failed every time -.- Yea, failed, because it's no problem anymore:-) Just because of YOU!! Thanks man :D
Bronas S. You are very welcome man
:-)
2018 and people still learning :P been practicing in the middle of the night in the park. My slick moves have clearly warded off all the stabby people
Awesome tutorial. Very helpful. I use it for a workout when I'm bored because it is amazing for the legs. Also, something to note is similar things occur in ROTC.
I know several people have said this already, but this is truly the most useful tutorial I have seen. 15 minutes of me practicing with this tutorial has gotten me further than much longer with any of the others. The camera angle is great and your explanations are too. It's very clear. Thank you very much. I plan to practice 15-30 minutes a day until I master this.
Glad that 5 years later and my awkward teenage self is still helping people hahaha
Probably one of the best tutorials I've encountered. I wish more people shuffled in my area.
NEW MOVES!!!! So happy I found this one! Been looking for a couple new moves that weren't too difficult and this video was a gold mine! The step back and toe spin are PERFECT! Thank you so much!!!!!
i couldn't do the running man at all after watching countless tutorials. Yours was the first that actually taught me how to do it! Thanks man, good vid!
Dude... I'm in my late forties, and this shit used to crack me up... Really I was just jealous cause I couldn't do it, (thought there was some trickery involved... It just looks so weird) I swear I'm gonna start practicing the running man and T step, seriously great exercise, and good for polishing floors... Cheers..!
+Stella Lush thats wassup! haha, it may look funny when your first learning, but once you can nail it, you can make this shit look tight as hell.
best tutorial ive seen on the subject. Most people dont cover anything more than the Running man and MAYBE the T step.
hey man
I'm here in Melbourne and the only place where the shuffle still exists is at shit like defqon- no clubs, no parties, just those hardstyle festivals
(yes I shuffle, only to rustle jimmies)
but you're pretty much sound on your technique, but you need to cover a little more space with a little more aggression in your technique
other than that, this is probably one of the best tutorials I've seen on UA-cam, props man ! :)
I feel the same way. I go to clubs in Miami and I'm the only person Melbourne shuffling. I wish I lived in Europe so I could go to defqon 😭
Well there's your problem dude, you're in the wrong scene ! :D
defqon and all the hard style fests are where you will find people Hakking and Shuffling.
I used to Melbourne style, and it just died off. The London shuffle (Konijnendans) is starting to kick off here, and im really glad Ive been doing it for years
keep making videos man !
Alexi Haven't been to Cloud Nine at King st havent ya?
yeah of course, its fucken cooked
only been twice and thats enough for me mate
Finally a shuffle tutorial that's easy to understand and looks good. I feel like I need a shuffle teacher in person though, can you come teach me?! I mean that in a non-creepy way haha :D
this helped me out so much man , ur the best. best tutorial so far , thank you so much buddy
:D Thank you man! It means alot! Shuffling is my passion and I wanted to redo my tutorial because my old one was quite bad, again thanks :)
Thanks so much, this video helped me so much. I showed my friends and they all asked where I learnt to do the rave and I told them this video
Truly a long time since i've ever seen a prefect tutorial like this.

QsHsNation1 Keep up to good work. People need you. :D

I learned the shuffle naturally from hanging out at raves and concerts. It's awesome.
7 years later and this still helps, even though I’m just laying down.

Anytime.
this was really good and helpful!
+August Harsløf Thank you appreciate it! Glad it helped!
I came to improve on my shuffling XD
yay :D
***** Hey! There is plenty of music that is used for shuffling! Shuffling is generally defined as a Electronic Music Dance, and so I hardly ever dance to LMFAO's music anyways. Try searching electro house, house, big room house etc. Artists like hardwell, Dimitri Vegas and like mike, Vicetone, etc are great for shuffling. Spinnin Records and Revealed Recordings youtube channels have tons of music great to shuffle to. Anything with a constant beat is good.
***** To spice it up a bit, start shuffling to some Hardstyle music! Look for songs like Headhunterz - Rock Civilization, or Showtek - FTS
nice video dude
Nice.
thankyou !
this is real shuffle brah
Great video bro thanks :)
Your very welcome :D
Hey man,
I looked up all kinds of tutorials on how to improve my shuffle and mainly my running man. I can shuffle, but it doesn't look as smooth as you guys' (the youtubers).
Now how can I make my shuffle look smoother?
Thank you this really helped
np :)
Thanks
Prfekt ty! =)
This guy must be a good public speaker. You can see how much he uses his hand gestures through his shadow
Lmaooo, not really but I do use my hands alot when talking!
Glide was litty
no problem :)
no problem :D
The sound of the sneakers on the ground really helps lol
#respect
Hello, i have a question. Do you have to be physically in shape to be good at shuffle? It's just when I watch old Melbourne shuffle vids from 2008 all those boys look skinny, without any meat on their bones and out of shape, but when they shuffle they glide and shuffle all over the place and with great speed. Could you do this when you are tired or after a long and hard day at work for example? Hope this question is not stupid. And thank you for reading this. I'm not English so forgive my mistakes :)
Looks like she took care of this for me. But nah man, if your of a heavier set, you'll be fine. just practice. Hey, it might lose you some weight too! haha.
How long does it take to shuffle like a pro and how much should you practise ?
GOOD job :)
Deona Ray why thank you :)
Thanks for the tutorial man, but i am struggling with transitioning my running man from two parts to one more fluent motion without just sliding my foot across the ground. Is it supposed to be like that, and if not, are there any tips i should know or does it just take time and practice?
The running man is a two step process. it's more of a hop. you hop halfway back, the another hop all the way back as the other leg comes down. if you do it right and fast, it looks seamless and like its one smooth motion.
QsHsNation1 thx, this helped, i guess i just have to do it a lot faster
you're awesome. Thanks for taking the time to make this video...I would add google "adsense" to your video (even though it's a bit annoying to us the viewers), but it could make you a few bucks a month. Just a suggestion...
Thanks!
Really good tutorial.. I think I dislocated my knee but that’s not your fault that’s mine. XD
how was the running man hard at all or complicated my 2 year old cousin did it perfectly the first time
I'm going to tomorrow world and I'd like to master this before I go. This tutorial is really good. :)
+Lyss0624 how was the rain?
QsHsNation1 it wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be, I had a really good time. I can't wait to go back.
decided to watch this over a more recent video because I know somebody from 8 years ago knows how to do a true Melbourne shuffle
It’s all on the hand movements to complete your shuffle
When i watch people shuffle I notice that when they do the the running man they seem to slide, do people integrate more of sliding instead of more of hoping? If they do hop they hop pretty fast.
Nah, its all hopping, but very small and fast, if you do it correct, it creates the illusion of sliding
Hey it's 2015 are you still teaching Melbourne shuffling? Don't get me wrong I prefer shuffle than other jumpstyle or tecktonic.. hope you make more tutorials
+Kakkarot Red I haven't really done youtube in a long time, but i still shuffle!
I'd recognise vans anywhere!
nice shoes
ik the melbourne is usualy used for house music uhm can u use it to dance to hardstyle or happy hardcore or drum and bass???
shuffling originated with hardstyle! you can totally od it to happy hardcore/hardstyle, just faster paced, with drum and bass? not so much, the beat doesn't work with it.
tru thx I was to lazy to actually figure it out myself cause that ,eans I would have had to get out of the chair and dance lol thx man
your welcome home slice lmao
700. sub! xD Nice
can i use this dance on psychodelic music ?
+ZeRox024 You HAVE to
15:21 thumbs up if you thought the plane sound actually came from your window.
The melbooorne shuffle
I have just been doing 1 move per beat and thought I could shuffle... If I have to do 2 moves it becomes really hard, on psytrance/hard trance xD well, back to practice
That Glitch Mob Intro
song at 7:56?
But I can do the spin without using the T Step I do it while using Running Man
your welcome :D
heeeeeey isnt that where ryan higa did a parkours
My practice will begin tomorrow. B(
same hahaha
what kind of music genres can you shuffle to?
try deep house or anything with a strong bass and 4/4 time
Hardstyle, reverse bass, melbourne underground.
damn i remember you were like a god when i was teenager, my old shoes remember too
Good, but a tip do bigger steps it looks half done and i have 2 years of experience so i know what i,m talking about keep it up ^^
thats awesome but i cant do tutorial moves that look cool i make up my own cool moves then i forget them and move on to something else
No side gliding? :(
What shoes are those tho
Kio Genesis vans!
QsHsNation1 which ones pls. I understand if you don't know the exact ones.
Kio Genesis They are custom made, you can customize your own on the vans website!
QsHsNation1 Thanks!
QsHsNation1 And sorry for bothering but there are a few like Old Skool, Chukka low, and authentic. Do you know which ones were in the vid.
I cant do it with my left part :/
You're the fucking manna
Fuck the hatterrrrss

QsHsNation1 allrightyy...nice tutorial!
Anybody know where the car came from?
+Daniel Simmons lmao thats my car.
