    The amount of caffeine you mention for matcha seems surprisingly high, I once found a study that analysed caffeine content in different matchas and it was between 20 and 40mg per gram

    • @user-st7lm7cw7n
      @user-st7lm7cw7n 7 місяців тому

      We are talking about the 1st harvest of matcha (ceremonial grade). The 2nd and 3rd are not that much. So maybe the study you looked at was talking about these (2nd, 3rd) harvests.

    • @baba0405
      @baba0405 7 місяців тому

      @user-st7lm7cw7n it was pretty comprehensive actually, and analysed a lot of different matchas, but I'll try to find it again a check

    Whenever i but teabags at the super market the black teas always have more caffeine? What gives?

    • @Nioteas
      @Nioteas  4 місяці тому

      yes the low quality green teas dont have as much caffeine as the high quality ones

    Question: Teas are frequently touted for their antioxidant content, but since green tea naturally oxdizes into black tea, how potent can those antioxidants be? They don't even prevent their own oxidation.

    • @Nioteas
      @Nioteas  4 місяці тому

      yes this is a good point! Even though the antioxidant content is high it will still oxidize naturally. A good example of this is the skin of an apple is much higher in antioxidants than the inside. Once you bite it, the inside will oxidize very quickly and turn brown but still the skin can oxidize as well if you leave it for long enough

    I dont get it, because most other info on internet shows black tea having more caffiene than green tea.

    • @Nioteas
      @Nioteas  Рік тому +1

      yes it really depends more on what type of leaves are used and how the tea is produced. Black teas tend to be made from older leaves so therefore they are lower in caffeine. Its difficult to say one category has more than another because it really depends

      this is likely the lower quality matcha for cooking or lattes which has 34mg, the high quality stuff like the ones we sell has 68mg

    Tea with caffeine in it can makes coffee drinkers like the tea more because of their addiction and is something that should be avoided in the afternoon that interferes with sleep and can have a negative effect on work performance and can decrease your life span. Caffeine is hard on the heart and circularly system like most stims. raise levels of physiological or nervous activity in (the body or any biological system). Lack of sleep can also reduce life spans. The brain controls the body and has to shut down to repair itself. Only caffeine free drinks and foods should be eaten or drank after 3pm including to much chocolate that contains 3 percent caffeine and can cause children to bounce off the walls more then increases in sugar intake. Some studies have suggested that caffeine may bring on early puberty in children that may bring on reduced mental devolvement. Caffeine can also increase levels of paranoia and increase the chances of commiting a murder. It has strong effects on a person mental states. Hight doses makes criminals more evil like other illegal drugs or combined. Victims and criminals both can develop tendencies towards paranoia. One is more aim at criminals and the other at law enforcement and people who want justice or revenge and such criminals may well murder random people a result of their paranoia and believe that everybody knows what they did. Criminals and victims both sometimes commit mass murder. crowds sometimes attempt to torment victims of crimes resulting in on rare occasions the victims getting a gun and opening fire on the crowd. He is now willing to use lethal force to mass murder nasty people.

      Tea has l-theanine, that's why it does not work like coffee, it has balancing effect. Tea is actually good for the heart and lowers stress. I drink tea up to 5pm and I have no problem sleeping, but usually it is something like Earl Grey, not as strong.
      Learn more about Tea, it is not aggressive on the body like coffee and is actually very, very healthy. Lowers cortisol, good for the heart, good for the brain and much more.
