Producing a winner should be the most important thing. But some fans care more about a damn nickname than they care about winning. They don't care if this name issue becomes a distraction again on the players, coaches and front office personel, because they'd rather see the team lose, than cheer for them with the name Commanders. The new regime has their priorities right where they need to be. This team is finally in a position where they can focus on just football and not on the owner or the nickname. And yet there's fans out there who would rather create more chaos than get behind the positive things happening right now with this team.
If they aren’t going to change it back to the Redskins then leave the commanders name alone. The commanders name is actually really legit! Where are most of the high ranking military commanders? IN WASHINGTON! You’re never going to make everybody happy so just leave the name alone and focus on winning.
I just want to know the truth from this guy about how and who decided on the Commanders name being chosen. He was the guy who told the lie that it was chosen by the fans. Speculation was Snyder wanted to stcik it to DC before he leaves. I just want the truth.
