Awesome. Little question for you: I did a realization for guitar of this partimento for my channel, but I strayed from the leading tone harmonization in the sixth last measure (D-C#-D-C#). As it’s near the end, I set the D as 4/2 and the C# as 6/3 (repeated fa-mi). What are your thoughts on doing reharmonizations like that? I think it sounds great, but perhaps less eighteenth century. Would composers of this time exercised freedom to play around like that? Thanks!
@@RichardusCochlearius Thank you very much. I also want to ask a question. Could you tell me how to start this journey with partimento and so on? There are many books and sources and I don't know what to choose. Also will it help me in composition and improvisation and what source or book will help me exactly in this topic the most?
THANKS! Great lesson. Notes: 1. Key 2. Modulations (tran 3. Figuration of the bass 4. Rule (you should use it, or make another rule) 5. Harmonic and melodic patterns you must know
This is a great lesson. I am understanding more and more of these elements as I am progressing.
Thank you so much! I'm glad of that!
