@@synex5358your wrong dude, it has a dual clutch gearbox because the early 1.8 tfsi ones only came with a cvt gearbox 6 speed tiptronic our a 6 speed manual gearbox, while s tronic only was availble for the 2.0 tfsi, V6 and the top range s4 rs4 versions, the face lift versions wich this one is because off the facelifted led rear lights etc also had the s tronic gearbox as option on the 1.8 tfsi versions, it did replace the oldskool 6 speed tip tronic that they used from previous models bmw did the exact same thing they switched to a dual clutch box on the facelifted e90 and the e60 from but the top non m range like the 335i already had it, i bet they did this to get rid off all the old stock laying around, back in the day a lot off brands just did keep producing the old version next to there new one untill they got rid off the left overs, like bmw did with the e30 when the e36 came out, the tiptronic had a torque converter, s tronic is just the same thing as dsg, just with there own twist on it, they just rebranded it as s-tronic for there marketing, wich make it sound better, but also will make it sell better ;)
Ich kann diesen 4 zylindern einfach nichts abgewinnen. Wenn du sowas hörst, denkst du automatisch an irgendeinen GTI, und nicht an einen A4. hören sich allesamt gleich an. Keine Charakteristik wie zum Beispiel beim 5-Zylinder..

Ist es automatik(dsg) oder manuelle schaltung? wtf.. der sound beim schalten ist grässlich, da hört sich das fallen der wurst ins klo besser an..

The sound is pretty much the same, but the revlimiter burble is a bit different on manual :)
One question. What is it that makes such a sound where the gears switch. Is it done by modifying the exhaust or is it already factory-made?
It's when automatic gearbox hits "revlimiter" and our exhaust enhances the sound :)

kann vielleicht daran liegen das es kein 5 zylinde ist
Vlt liegt es daran dass sich nicht alle einen RS3/RS4 leisten können.
