Haha right! Fun fact, it actually does act as a mid course! Just like on Fury, Leviathan, or Banshee! The train is designed to fly through the flat, elevated portion of the brake run which clears the block prior allowing a train to drop off the lift hill. It then comes to a nearly completely stop in the block section after. But that flat, elevated portion could absolutely slam the train to a stop if it needs to
Thank you for doing this smart comp! Everyone is so f'in extra with this " it's too short shit"! I mean, we all want the biggest and baddest, but just be happy and thankful that this beast will exist shortly!!!
I think Orion is going to be an awesome coaster. With all of the other great coasters at KI this is just going to make a great park even better. You don't have to have a world's tallest, fastest, longest or whatever to have a great coaster.
I fear it loses too much speed in the turnaround, and that the only intense part of this ride will be the upward helix, basically what’s already been done with Titan at SFoT. Fury really set the standard of what’s to be expected from a Giga IMO. - great comparison man! 😄
It doesn't matter. Since when does every coaster need to be bigger, longer than the previous? El Toro isn't longer than the Beast but is a WAY WAY better ride. I305 is the shortest Giga by length and is easily the most intense. Orion is gonna be a really good ride. Doesn't have to be in my top 5 for me to still love it on every ride.
It’s not entirely about the length, I don’t think most people would care it’s a short ride if it actually looked like it packed a strong punch. I’m sorry but an almost 90 ft tall brake run is pretty ridiculous. At least just throw in some airtime hills. I think this coaster will be fun but people have a reason to be disappointed
potato patata. Now now let’s calm down, he could just be a huge fan of trees. and trim brakes... and forcelessness... and lack of airtime... and slow lift hills... okay seriously dude give me the contact info of your dealer
Fury looks more exciting but I think that's goes without saying (or seeing). Orion looks like it's gonna be a handful and is going to be amazing. I can't wait to ride! Great video man.
If Anyone says fury vs Orion I will be so mad!! They are not meant to be compared since fury is in a level of its own. I would compare this to Leviathan and i personally think orion will be better because of that wave turn at the beginning of the ride which looks insane!!
It's not fair to compare the two. The #1 Coaster in the world vs a new recruit? Just let them have their moment. Us Charlotteans are not hating on your coaster. We're grateful for what we have.
All the coaster snobs whining about how meh Orion is going to be, are sounding pretty entitled if you ask me. Kings Island already has a great coaster lineup and the fact that it's going to be topped off with a b&m giga is freakin awesome. It's not like gigas are everywhere, so any new ones being built should be seen as great thing for the park and community. I just hate seeing all the snobbery and elitism in a community built around something so fun and thrilling. Totally not the vibe I expected to get on videos pertaining to roller coasters.
But here is the kicker bro...all the gigas are almost with in 8-12hrs of each other.. even the stratas. none are being built on the west coast or mid country.
Remember...its 70 feet taller than Diamondback....yet, it's 100 feet shorter....3 more air time hills and you have a world class ride.....as it is, it's simply the shortest Giga on earth....not neccesarily the record I would have been looking to break.😂😂
They should've added one more airtime hill at the end and have the height 300ft and the drop 313ft. The chain lift should go slow at first and then go fast.
I only hope this giga is small because CF is saving up the funds for the big ride in CP in 2021. Otherwise, why not 1-up Fury when you had the chance? This is just diamondback with a 300ft lifthill, and im sad that this wont be even close to Fury.
All I keep seeing is posts about Fury’s helixxxx! Agh, Orion’s doesn’t look to be that forceful either, it actually slows down towards the top of it. Don’t @ me 😂😂
Unpopular opinion, RMC Gwazi is gonna blow this shit out the water. The cedar fair brand has my undivided vote for the best but lets be realistic here.
That might be true but fury is carring more speed thru the course. The first half of the ride is low to the ground so you cover it very quickly. Fury has over 6600 feet of track and you cover it quickly at 95 mph.
ElClickbaitRyan 😒
Please tell me how this is clickbait
Explain how this is clickbait
Carolina Coaster Fan because he stole this footage and hasn't even ridden either of these coasters!! He just posts whatever is trending to get 💰💰💰
Branden Steinagle this coaster isn’t even made yet you fucking idiot. How can you be this stupid?
Branden Steinagle and Hes ridden fury have you watched any of his videos?
13 seconds doesnt seem all that long but those 13 seconds pack in some killer airtime hills
When drop to brake run is ~60s, that's over a 20% increase in ride time. Definitely noticeable.
I see you in every coaster related comment section
yeah, some of the best b&m ejector
Fury is my favorite coaster but it really could do without the turn at the end
Yeah but those are 13 seconds wasted heading back for a reride!
Orion introducing a ride with a brake run so high in the air,you think it’s the mid course 😂
Lol. I thought It was when I first saw the animation
Haha right! Fun fact, it actually does act as a mid course! Just like on Fury, Leviathan, or Banshee! Leviathan: am I a joke to you
ElToroRyan thanks for the fun fact!
83ft final brake?? You could fit an entire coaster under that!... Like.. idk a ride like.. Dragon Fyre maybe!
Calakapepe you can fit adventure express under there
Thank you for doing this smart comp! Everyone is so f'in extra with this " it's too short shit"! I mean, we all want the biggest and baddest, but just be happy and thankful that this beast will exist shortly!!!
Clicked faster than you can say ONE TRAIN OPS
Orion feels like it needs just one more element.
I'd like to see Orion side by side with diamondback.
Caught that blink-182 in the end
Welp I’ll be riding fury next weekend and Orion sometime next year but IM HYPED
Sheeeeeeesh I love Fury but im honestly very excited to watch Orion during Construction and ride it in Spring 2020!
Same here mang!
I just realized that all B&M Gigas have tracks that are different shades of blue
Can you do an Orion and Diamondback comparison?
Kings Island Fanboy daimondstack
You said it wrong😂😂😂
Alex the coaster Enthusiast sorry Dimondbetterthanintrimidator

Orion is basically the EXACT same duration as leviathan (drop to brakes) They sync in the last 6 seconds of the ride
This makes me feel better about Orion now.
Remember that Fury is traveling faster, so it is covering the course faster then Orion.
I fear it loses too much speed in the turnaround, and that the only intense part of this ride will be the upward helix, basically what’s already been done with Titan at SFoT. Fury really set the standard of what’s to be expected from a Giga IMO. - great comparison man! 😄
Rather have a long brake run at the end then a mid course one.
Your editing skills slap Brah!

The Beast is way better than El Toro tf
@@liamryan7239 you my sir are high or your just being funny becuase beast is nowhere near as good as el toro

My only problem with this video is you're comparing animation to real life (which with fury is an empty car so it runs slower than it normally would.)
Quick Caliber thats not even his point..
Quick Caliber no but they could make it as fast as it would be if there was people.
If Anyone says fury vs Orion I will be so mad!! They are not meant to be compared since fury is in a level of its own. I would compare this to Leviathan and i personally think orion will be better because of that wave turn at the beginning of the ride which looks insane!!
Fury vs Orion. :p your welcome.
@@llamadrama5105 how dare you 😂
not a wave turn
Something no one ever talks about with Fury is its landscaping.
It's not fair to compare the two. The #1 Coaster in the world vs a new recruit? Just let them have their moment.
Us Charlotteans are not hating on your coaster. We're grateful for what we have.
If orions final helix is intense I think it has a chance to be better than fury
it’s practically the same as the figure 8 on shambhala, so it probably wont
Airtime Enthusiast you’re funny
No.
Dude the first drop looks the same height by how they literally get off the hill at the same time

Yo mang, mang mang! Can you do a cross compare of the two treble cleffs, whereas I thought I heard that orion's is just in reverse.
Riding Orion next year!
Sah dude? Unfortunately it looks more like a sequel to D-Back than anything. P.S I operated Millie and Maggie back in 2010. And I love your content! 😍
ORION WILL SLAP AS HARD AS THIS CHANNEL
Cooperative Desk ionosphere not quite
Soooo it's Fury without the useless helix... Count me in
Remember that Fury is traveling faster, so it is covering the course faster then Orion.
Fury 325 vs Fürery 325
100% better than the original
Remember...its 70 feet taller than Diamondback....yet, it's 100 feet shorter....3 more air time hills and you have a world class ride.....as it is, it's simply the shortest Giga on earth....not neccesarily the record I would have been looking to break.😂😂
8 of those seconds are due to a long, drawn out, lack luster helix.
Remember that Fury is traveling faster, so it is covering the course faster then Orion.

If you’re paying for it, sure!!
@@ElToroRyan That's right.
At least there getting a Giga and carowinds has a lot more land to work with
Hurler vs the beast next.
@OneDayAfterAnother lol yes my point is obviously furry is better then Orion but why would anyone compare the two.
Watching in school cause i got them notifications on mang
Edit: I CANT WATCH IT CAUSE THE WIFI IS SO ASS
Edit: VID SLAPPED
#GetIronRattlerFanboysSchoolBetterWifi
If I could ask KI one question it would be “why is Orion final break run so long and tall”
Well... it’s the tallest final brake run in the park? Maybe they wanted the record?
@@ElToroRyan lol
just wondering arent yall tired of the onetrainops meme at this point? XD
the blue one looks better'

Unpopular opinion, RMC Gwazi is gonna blow this shit out the water. The cedar fair brand has my undivided vote for the best but lets be realistic here.
Fury is still my #1 giga
The drops look the same, even though fury’s is quite a bit taller
all b&m giga drops look the same tbh
If you look close fury looks steeper
It’s like fury but a little bit reversed
Heyyyyyy daddyyyyyyy
If you take away the pointless helix from Fury, it’s only a second longer
it may be pointless but its still fun and part of the coaster
Patrick Richardson it’s definitely a dead spot. Only good part about the helix was the handchopper
The whole ride is pointless! That’s why it is so much fun!
That might be true but fury is carring more speed thru the course. The first half of the ride is low to the ground so you cover it very quickly. Fury has over 6600 feet of track and you cover it quickly at 95 mph.
Did you see the clue that six flags great adventure tweeted
Yup! I believe it’s gonna be themed to the Jersey Devil!
I thought two face because they said villain and duel. Jersey devil is more probable
*Elpeppapig*
Who’s to say they won’t change it a bit from this model by the time it opens next year
It should be called the alpha beast
Fury is obviously so much better
Orion is in my home park so that’s a plus for me 😂 but fury is still better most likely
Fury is wayyy better coaster
I feel like Cedar Fair gave KI this psuedo giga to shut up folks crying about not having one.
lanceflx63 the little hyper that could
What is the time difference after removing Fury’s pointless helix?
I think someone said it’s about 12 seconds or so
9 seconds long
Fury carries more speed thru thru course. The first half is low to the ground so you cover it quickly. Fury has over 6600 feet of track
Smh🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
This is why I hate it being a B&M.... B&M does the same element over and over, if you ride one you've ridden them all.
If fury didn't have that boring turn at the end still no 1 Orion would be closer
Orion sucks compared to fury
