Uggh I regret watching Business Proposal today, I even watched all 6 eps straight. I hate waiting for episodes to air. Usually I would wait for a series to finish so I can watch it fully but I guess I really love Sejeong so much. Sejeong and Chungha are my faves in IOI, personality wise, vocals, talent, and visuals those two are the best. I remember watching a clip of ROS and Sejeong is also so good with kids, she's so kind.

IOI was huge when they debuted, monster rookie, breaking records and all that. When Sejeong did Flower Road she got a 1st on music show, only a few months into her career. It was when she debuted in Gugudan, Jellyfish (her company) does a shit job and never really gave the Gugudan girls much opportunities, especially when Gugudan had 3 members who were PD101 finalists (and 2 debuted through IOI). Jellyfish did them dirty really and I will always hate that company for it.
Now she’s going solo I miss her girl group days🥺

@@Imnotauserr She auditioned in SM and in JYP when she was much younger. Idk why they rejected her, I think she was nervous but her voice quality was really good (but a bit shaky tho). At that time she was just wearing very simple kids' clothes with little to no make up so her visual was kind of overpowered by other really fashionable and beautiful contestants (although she was already very underratedly pretty then). She improved soooo much when she came back on screen. Look at how SM Ent feature her with nearly all of their male idols and variety shows NOW. They already seem to want to adopt her permanently at this point 😂😂

But in a way, I'm kind of glad how she's not under SM ent, because you can really see who the real arists are when they bloom due to talent and hardwork regardless of their company. Also, I want her to freely spread her wings in the way she sees fit, and have a good amount of rest when she needs it. I feel like Sejeong would be too restrained and overworked, or she'd be painted in a different image from herself in SM, since it is a common knowledge that they treat their idols (especially women) unfairly.

i cried listening to sejeong’s version of this song. i never knew she was such a talented singer who could deliver such intricate emotions through her voice. i could really feel the depth of her singing and the thoughts and feelings she was trying to convey through this performance. she nailed the high notes and everything was just right, not too extreme and not lacking at all. i love it so much and this video gave me so much comfort. wishing for nothing but the best for sejeong’s future path in singing and of course, acting and variety shows. she deserves it ❤️
