Such a great looking sled. Check out our Ship Bottom Brewery video to see it in action when George lets Burt take it for a spin.
One of Harley’s finest builds.
Ive had mine 14 years, Still planning on changing that Bobbed fender!!! Don't like , Never did. Otherwise best ever.
I just love the style of that bike man.
thank you Budzzable, me too man, me too.
I stared at one of these at the dealer a few yrs back... I musta had drool running down my chin cause the salesperson came up and asked if he could write it up for me... shoulda done it!
Nicely put together video and a great look at that bike
Thank you!
Awesome ride. The first blacked out HD was a dual belts, Sturgis. 80 thru 82. Harleys attempt at pimary belt was a flop...
+Bud Irwin very cool, I just had to look up the Sturgis, and yes it was pretty blacked out for a factory bike.
Literally my favorite bike
Very cool bike. Never ridden one with a springer but I love the way they look. I've often wondered how they handle.
This bike rides very firm and solid, but has a very poor lean angle. A lot of people complain about springers being floaty, but I've never felt that on the Crossbones.
That is one sweet ride George! Outstanding filming of the bike and edits! Well done. Still have it ???? Nice job 👍🏼
+ANONYMOUS BIKER USA thank you! Yes I still have it. Probably always will 👊🏻
Bewtyful Look'N Bike brother 🤙🏻
We gotta keep theses old gerls going..🍻🤙🏻✌🏻
Loved the mods you've done& the bobtail is still my fav rear gards ✌🏻🍻🍻cheers mate
Thanks Smitty, the bobtail is cool. The other thing I love is the horseshoe oil tank, you'll need to buy an older harley to have that now.
I got one last year and bought an extended warranty directly from Harley this thing is a monster I’ve been a dyna guy for the last decade because I’m a city dweller but this thing handles traffic great except for the floor board scraping
Yes, it has a very poor lean angle.
What a cool looking bike kinfolk 🤙🍻
thank you Knuckles.
Thanks for showing. A real treat for me. Is still one of if not #1 on my desired list. Very unique and a one of a kind, like nothing else.
Everything is negotiable Wafer.
Believe me, I would if I could!
I've got an '08; tell me about the headlight relocation..like it?
The headlight relocation mount is from Roland Sands Design.
@@BaggersandBrews Thanks for the reply..far as the scooter goes, ya done good!
Fred Martin thanks man I love it.
Killer machine 😎🤘🏻 great B roll on it man🍻
Thanks JT. Broll is a constant learning experience for me.
Baggers and Brews same here
Great looking bike - thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching Vito, I miss her.
she is looking good. Take Care
thank you Tex, you guys stay safe.
i'm always checking the want-ads for a crossbone and they're out there, also like the slim. what is a springer ride like? i have an 02 heritage now. i only have a brew after the bike is put away, no drink and drive for me and we got all those distracted clowns in their cages to watch out for. ride safe and good luck.
+steve perry honestly a springer looks cooler than it rides. Especially the crossbones, it has a very poor lean angle, and hits pot holes like a rock. But I still love it.
+steve perry they are hard to find. There are never more than a few on the chopper exchange at a time. But who knows for the right price you could own this one 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah, Chopper Exchange, the best place to look at pre-owned.
I own a few Harleys, my favorite is my 97 Softail springer fxsts. Aesthetically I’ve done a lot of mods but the ole Evo is still ripping ass. I was never really attracted to the crossbones bike. Don’t hate it by any means, I guess I like the old school stuff better. One things for sure, never get rid of it. Springers are now hot and wanted. Shit, in another ??? years, they’ll all be worth mega bucks.
The rake on the front end is non -existent. correct? Doesnt look comfortable for a person over 6 foot tall. Your thoughts?
The seat position is further back and with the mini apes and position of the floor boards it’s pretty comfy.
They should make a fork conversion kit as a factory add on or conversion
For what exactly Joseph?
Been nice to hear it run man....any cam upgrades since the video?....id hang on to that one man
Man, I never thought of recording it running, that would have been cool. But yeah I let her go to finance my 2021 Road Glide Limited. I wasn’t able to give her the love she needed.
@@BaggersandBrews a 2021 road glide limited is a pretty nice machine as well id say.....wow
Also we’re did you get that single bag?
Garage leathers
Does yours run hot?
no it didn't run hot
I love it, however the crossbones was not the originator of the dark custom or blacked out Harley’s. That distinction goes to the Night Train. Was out much earlier
Some would say it was the Sturgis. But I referring to the marketing campaign that accompanied it. I don’t remember if the Night Train was part of that.
I saw that white zip tie!
There might be a zip tie or two 😂
I liked the crossbones.
Keep in mind that I am somebody that does not particularly like Harley-Davidson or ape hangers and fairly neutral on bobbers.
I test drove several Harleys on a demo day and the last one was a crossbones. I only did it because it was completely different from the others that I test drove into my surprise I liked it a lot.
Comfort and power to weight ratio and handling. It was by far my favorite Harley.
Nice work fellas. That shot of the tank with the reflection of the trees was awesome. The last of the factory springers man, great bike.
+Dirty Deez thanks man, yeah I didn’t notice that until the edit. Happy accident.
Glad I found this channel or this channel found me. That springer looks dope man!!!!
Chopper thank you! Glad you found us as well.
I have 2008 CB, awesome bike..... love it and i will keep it
yeah it's a hard bike to sell, will they be worth anything......who knows, but its a great ride.
Who was it you said that the MoCo sold the tooling for the Springer to? I've never had any negative handling issues with the bike but I've had to learn to tune the front end. Recently I had to adjust the rockers but it's held up so well. All Softails have a shallow lean angle and this one is no exception. I've had mine since new in 2011 and have nearly 40k on it now. I put a 21" wheel on the front and upgraded the brakes to PM 4-piston calipers. That helped a lot too.
They sold it to Paughco.
@@BaggersandBrews Thank you. That makes a lot of sense. They currently have the best looking Springers on the market. I have a Yamaha Roadstar that needs to go back together at some point. It has a Springer on it too. I LOVE Springers.
Would love to see that Roadstar Springer, post it up on our FB Page when its done!
@@BaggersandBrews My wife would live to see it too. I'm in the middle of a Ford truck resto on my channel and I have a 78 CJ after that. Someday I hope to finish it though. I'll post it up when it's done. Just don't hold your breath for it being soon lol.
Wow, really nice looking bike!
The 333 it is a sweet bike for sure. Got the chance to ride it today. Man. It was the best of both worlds. Old Harley rugged clunky feel with added springer comfort. 🤘🏻
Some advice - this a UA-cam. Nobody clicks a video to watch your cliched guitar lick intro. That’s Discovery Channel - that’s TV
Some advice Paul - This is UA-cam, you can skip ahead any part of the video.
Can you do a video on the features like trip a trip b ect
Where did you get the plate/brake light relocation kit?
Thanks!
it was made by roland sands, to be mounted in place of a passenger peg, I custom mounted it the axle
sweet ride love springers
+Rollin Stone nothing not to love about springers buddy.
Great looking bike!
Thanks Nick! you been out riding?
Yeah. Not far but I’ve been riding around town. How about you guys?
Whats the part number on that luggage rack?
Crispy No idea , but I have it still and willing to sell it.
@@BaggersandBrews how do we discuss price.
Parli troppo
Look great 👍 What size Engine ?
Thanks you Vinh, 96 Twin Cam

Super clean looking bike man!
Thanks Bobber! I know she's no Indian 😂👍🏻
Baggers and Brews I’m not just an Indian guy. You guys know first hand I stood in that heat with you guys for a Harley Davidson record. Well merica but still love all bike but American bikes got me first for sure.
+Adventures of the bearded Bobber I knew that would get a rise 👍🏻👊🏻, Hell yeah you are 1 of 3497 just like us. All kidding aside I am digging the content on your new ride.
Baggers and Brews thank you! I love my bikes but I do look past the brands even though people on UA-cam want to remind me “well it’s never gonna be a Harley” I think for those ones I’m gonna start replying “oh it’s not!?!? I can’t believe the mistake I made” something like that lol.
I’m totally digging everything you guys are doing with the channel. Keep it up!
+Adventures of the bearded Bobber yeah man I don’t get the hate. Apples for some pears for others. As long as your on two wheels is cool, my Harley is never going to be an Indian. Indian has come and gone over the years, most people don’t understand what a beast of a company Polaris really is. With that backing I’m sure this time around is going to be a very different outing for them.
Nice
+Aubrey Davis thank you!
nice bike but bro the white zip tie has to go.
It’s just a badly framed head and shoulders shot of some bloke talking about the bike…. I wanted to see the bike!
I'm not sure if you are cross Eyed or have a crooked neck but the dude is dead center of the shot... u wanna see the bike watch the video. It's in there!
