It's so great that I could cry. I am a french jazz musicians playing with a lot of famous musicians in the 60's (have a look at my chain), but this is really one of the best moment I had in the past last years. I played Spain but I think after this two great musicians, you only can close your piano and listen to them. Thank you, muchas gracias.
Corea is a genius and a phenomenon. Hiromi is from an entirely different universe. She and the piano are all one piece. Put the two of them together and it is more than magic!

Someone doesn't like: the sound quality, the video quality, the piano brand, the fact that a man is so close to an unmarried woman, prefers Steve Wonder's version, isn't into jazz music, misses a drummer, etc. etc. You can ask 100 random people in the street if they like this video and 90 would say no because it's not mainstream. Nothing special about dislikes.
Those 2 are very very very talented indeed, but my reason for disliking is that I find their performance in this particular occasion quite "flavorless". I've read some comments here saying that "that was a great conversation", and that's what it seemed to be all: a great conversation. It's like this interpretation should actually be titled "Norway" or "Sweden" instead of "Spain". I do enjoy when musicians go out of their way to create a jazzy solo to avoid the monotony of the regular theme in a well known number, but it just had too much of that in my opinion. Greetings.

Not everyone realizes is that Chick was the influence that caused Hiromi to switch from a concert pianist to jazz.
