@@jeannines1980 yeah, I was tempted to get the full sample pack, but I've tried at least half of the collection, so I decided not to get that as well. Great brand tho :)
@@marcthompson4875 I mean, I haven't sampled all them, but as far as I know only two or maybe three fragrance by Kerosene are actual gourmands. Sweetly Known and Unknown Pleasures for sure. You might say Follow is as well, because it smells like a drink. But in either case, those would also be my top 3 :D
It has been a while since I fell in love with a fragrance. I have fallen in love with "Sweetly Known". It layers perfectly with EVERYTHING, and it's exactly what I wanted "Lush - Let the good times roll" to be. Saving for a bottle currently and living off of sample vials...lol.
If you don’t like sweetly known, I’d gladly take it off your hands. I got a sample and love it. I was not a fan of Follow. It’s just a great coffee fragrance. I don’t like smelling like I spilled coffee on myself. Why would anyone spend $140 to smell like coffee. Just spill strong coffee or espresso on yourself. Same smell, for a fraction of the price.
I sampled it and after multiple showers it was still a skin scent after a few days. I'm not a big fan of the opening as it smells very much like a burnt match is right next to my face but the drydown is SO addictive.
It smells much better in the air in the opening. Up close it's a bit too burnt/not sweet. But in the air it's delicious!!! Dry down is really nice too, even if it takes 6 hours to dry down lmao. I still have it in the air from the test strip from a day ago, smells so amazing :)
Oh, I love those ones too! Although, I recently tried Black Vines which is also quite good for me :) I haven't tried the Gallagher, but I do like the brand, they have some great frags too!
Was just trying mine whilst watching your review. I had a bit of a shock with the opening, but like it more and more now that it's settling a bit. I have 7 or 8 from K, Follow, Unknown Pleasures, Fields of Rubus, Black Vines, Dirty Flower Factory, Copper Skies, Blackmail, and one I'm forgetting. Huge admirerer of John Pegg's artistry.
@@Tatted-ne7tu yeah, I have had a few so I usually sample things, but I do blind buy occasionally. I think lockdowns are making me a bit more prone lmao. I need to relax!!
Have you tried anything from Kerosene?
Yes
I tried a few. My favorite is winter 99. I hope to try more in the future

What are your top 3 gourmand Kerosene fragrances?

lol good strategy! I like it! Strong performer too. Incredible, really.
My order of this will be arriving soon. Already have Followed, Unknown Pleasures and Unforsaken.
Nice honest review as always, and know that your work is appreciated.
thank you!
Bro, perfect timing. I've been eying this one.
Thanks :D

Yeah, the dry down is fantastic! It is almost too long lasting haha
Does this lean feminine or masculine?
Great review! I agree with much of what you stated here. The opening I still struggle with.

Sounds really nice. Creme brulee is this brown sugar and vanilla pudding kind of smell.
maybe something like it in the drydown phase then, not sure in the opening I don't get much of the vanilla.
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed day
Thank you :D
You welcome keep ☝ the good work
I'm in between this and Gallagher Behold Patchouli for Black Friday purchase. Unknown pleasures and Blackmail are my favs from the house.

@@dr.fragrance3185 it literally burns the inside of my elbows, but the end result justifies the pain!
Good review I love this fragrance can’t wait to own it
Glad you enjoy it! It's really nice for sure. Glad to have a bottle for the upcoming cold weather.
Great video-from the title i thought you were going to hate it.
haha that's the series name! I just call it that for frags I blind buy. I do it now and again, but COVID got me doing it way too much haha
Thank you. I was gonna blind buy but I think I'll sample this one.
Always the best policy. I think it's good and I like it, but I know some people are not so in to it.
@@dr.fragrance3185 I agree, Ive learned after way to many disapointing and expensive blind buys to just sample.
