Favorite drop is the monkey crawl. It takes the most effort and skill, but it is the most rewarding. Obviously best in deep water situations.

Always a mental thing for me, I grew up skating so dropping the board and stepping on with my back foot first is the opposite of what your supposed to do skating

Yea I hear you! If you were a mongo skater it wouldn't be as hard to get used to lol. Practice at home on carpet first and get the muscle memory built up and that will help a ton!

I suitcase drop my longboard skateboard (Lush Kisiwa) and my Exile skimboard. Maybe I should visit baggage reclaim and pick up (drop) another method of getting on my board(s)

First season rider here. I've been tossing my Skimboard ahead of me, then chasing to get on within a few steps. Should I be progressing towards the one-step instead or would there not be much difference?

Im a 2 step dropper aswell. I dont find it difficult to catch waves with it. Maybe if u want you can just do the same thing but throw ur board less far out and jump on it from back foot to front.

Super video but the problem I have is that I hold the skimboard on my left hand and stand on the skimboard with the right foot at the back so I can't jump quickly on the skimboard and it makes me lose a lot of speed.
